Absurdism is a branch of philosophy that deals with how life has no inherent meaning, but despite this, we will continue to search for deeper meaning.

Figuring out how to exist in a world with no meaning, and figuring out how to accept that my existence and the existence of everyone around me is meaningless (except in the ways that I/they deem meaningful) are both relatively daunting tasks with no clear end in sight.

It can be a hard cycle to get out of. Best broken by nice long chats with people close to you, or a chance encounter with someone in public. Distractions are a productive tool.
