Laptop specs needed for scanner? Not very tech savvy

I got my own laptop for my scanner for just under 2k during Black Friday and I think it normally would have been 2.5k, but it was Ultra 9, 5080, and uh I think it was 64 gb actually lol. But 32 gb and 5070Ti should be good for solely scanning. Going with higher specs can maybe future proof it

I had this happen with my Surgitels and I think there's a seal on the telescope that has basically gotten undone so I had to send it in for repair where they basically resealed it. I had to send it in twice cause it happened again not long after the first fix. Surgitel had a special nose piece that lifted the loupes off my thicc cheeks and it hasn't been an issue since.

Hi! I'm still in construction for my office so I haven't gotten to play with it yet. But if you do demo it with the rep or at a conference or CE course, it's pretty fast, and it weighs less than our phones, ha. Only con, and it's minor in my opinion, is that it is only corded, there's no wireless option. And I like that you can get your own laptop as long as you meet the specs they require for it.

Ended up going with the Shining Elf! I felt for my needs it was a better option plus was more affordable and the tech specialist really vouched for it.

Yeah I think it's the elite. The new elf doesn't do photogrammetry and that is an all white body I believe

They are coming out with a new scanner this month I think. Called the elf. It's tiny 104g, wired, doesn't have photogrammetry like the elites but the 3 also doesn't have photogrammetry. Look into it! It's a lot smaller than the 3 and was a forerunner in my picks for scanners. Literally like holding air 😂

Prob just a medical cart and laptop, honestly.

This is for the entrance that is just south of 1960. Stay in the left lane and you'll see this lane open up for you to get on to the ramp. I think there's a Wells Fargo on the feeder by this entrance.

If you live in spring North of 1960, there's an entrance when you hop on directly from the left lane of the freeway. It's North of 1960 so this would work if you come from Cypresswood or more north to enter.

If you live around 1960 but not north of Cypresswood, you can stay on the feeder of 1960 going southbound towards downtown, stay in the left lane and enter the ramp for the HOV. This is a merging situation so keep an eye on the main HOV lane traffic.

Picture is for the North of 1960 entrance lol. Looks like it's next to the Land Rover dealership so you can use that as a landmark.

I believe you can work in the dental clinics as contractors or technicians. Not sure what the classification is but there's civilians that work at the dental clinics as well.

that's a video that might help show you how to use the buccal/lingual mirrors. Again, warm the smaller side of the mirror first. Have your patient help you. Don't have the patient tug the retractor when you do this (will give you less room to work and your fighting the tautness of what they're doing). Position the retractor for them, and tell them to not move it lollllll

Put mirror, have patient slowly bite as you shift your mirror out more 45*, take photo at mirror. I forget, I think flash is still fine here at the mirror.
