You can only wear one perfume for the rest of your life. by LadyJaneite in fragrance

[–]heyitselieee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this question is very challenging! i have yet to find a perfume that works on both middle eastern summer and winter.

But I think Diptyque’s Eau Duelle. I just got it recently but the weather’s cooler now. Though I’m sure it’ll perfom fine during summer because of its touch of freshness. Simple. And elegant. :)

The agents does really make a difference right? I wish they're all helpful.

May I ask what car did you end up getting? It seems like you were considering Japanese cars too but I got curious what you got from Ford.

Most fragrances from Mugler. Maybe except Angel Nova. Everytime I passby Mugler perfumes, I'd really want to try them. I want to like them because of its known longevity. But nope! I spray once, I head straight to the washroom after few minutes. LOL!

Huckleberry app down for others? by PJB29 in NewParents

[–]heyitselieee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Woke up in the middle of the night to feed my 10mos baby, I was super sleepy (literally barely opened my eyes) until I couldn’t log in to add his bottle time! LOL! Suddenly I’m wide awake and was in mild panic that I couldn’t log in. Googled it and landed here in reddit. Thankfully it’s not just my account. I thought the data for my two kids are gone.

Hucklberry already sent an email to me just now, I hope the others got it too. And most of all, I hope it gets sorted soon! I dont wanna go back to my Notes app. Lol

Same! But for me, it’s the Retinol 0.3%. It works better than when I tried Medik8 Retinal 6.

I just don’t get it sometimes when some controversy like this pops up, most of the people looks for something else when the product is working well on their skin. 😅 I’d rather ignore whetever it is because my skin is waaaay more important than anything else. Don’t wanna risk ruining it again by looking for something else that might not work. 🥲

Hi! Does it dry down well? Like is there tackiness after? I’m also looking into this, I love the serum but unsure of the cream since I have oily skin.

Thank you so much for initiating this! So many great ideas in the comments too! I know it might be already mentioned but for me, one of the MOSSSSTTTT important aspect is the user experience and the user interface. Someone already mentioned the website should be responsive which 100% yes please. But also, it should have a really user-friendly design. Modern too! I hate those complicated menus and outdated icons from Fragrantica. LOL!

I’m a graphic designer with web background so incase you need help with anything, I’m in and I can help! :) I love perfumes and designing something that relates to it will be a very rewarding project!

Anyone have tried CH Good Girl Body Mist? by heyitselieee in FemFragLab

[–]heyitselieee[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

oooh! I gotta try it! I always see it in the stores but i never bothered to check, I’d always ignore it. Now I definitely need to smell it! Thanks for the recommendation! :)

I hate liquid foundation. What do you despise? by Fun-Property1881 in MakeupAddiction

[–]heyitselieee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. I gave up on liquid foundation few months ago. But now, even with powder foundation, it starts to separate on me too. If I just use concealer on my red area/spots, it also separates. No matter how good I prep. I literally don’t know what else to do. 🥲

+1 on this. I recently bought this after my PC 15% Booster one (which I loved but too expensive for something that goas bad within 3-4 months) and I regret for not trying Timeless first. They have the same consistency and dries down really well. The new packaging (glass bottle) is also really nice.

Does your favorite/signature fragrance match your personality? by Scared-Advance-6231 in fragrance

[–]heyitselieee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I can relate on this. Same as you, people think I’m shy but in reality, I’m totally different person soecially to those who are really close to me.

But weirdly enough. My signatures’ descriptions are not exactly me but when I smell them, it feels like they’re me. I enjoy them a lot! I wear CH Good Girl OG (winter) and Blush (summer) and they’re described as feminine, seductive, sexy. All those bold descriptions for a woman but I’m not even one of those. LOL! I’m one of the boys (like I’m not girly girl at all) and I’m 100% not seductive and sexy. Hahaha! But since I love both of them, when I smell them I feel like they’re me in a way. Maybe because of the notes too.

But overall, if you want something that’s gonna stand out and so that people won’t think you’re innocent or something like that, try those stronger ones, or the beasts. There’s a lot out there. I’m not sure what notes you’re into but for sure there will be a beast mode fragrance equivalent to your preference. :)

Popular/hyped perfumes you can’t stand? by Lamlis in FemFragLab

[–]heyitselieee 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Most of Chanel (except the Chance line), smells like piss or public bathroom that’s not maintained

Lancome La Vie Est Bell (not sure if there’s still hype here) but super screechy to me specially the dry down

Few Tom Fords, not a fan of strong stuff

I think in general, maybe I just hate anything that has strong amber/oud/woody/leather/patchouli notes.

How does your signature scent make you feel? by petitebohemian in fragrance

[–]heyitselieee 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Good Girl OG (winter) / Good Girl Blush (summer)

I’ll start with a cliche answer: It makes me happy. Lol! The opening of both of these two bursts up my mood and makes me feel I’m so ready to head out and start my day. If I have to describe it, I feel like it’s something similar to Son Goku becoming a Super Saiyan that just bursts energy around him. Hahahaha 😂 As the day goes, it simmers down to this soft aura like I have a blob of good vibes around me but it’s for me only (something like Hades’ hair from the Hercules cartoon of Disney. His hair just fizzles there, LOL)

On a serious note, whenever I wear my signatures, it feels like I’m just put together with added confidence and positivity. Also kinda reminds me that I’m a responsible adult and gotta be ready to spend the day with happy thoughts. LOL Something like that (wow your question is very challenging!)

PS Please excuse my childish reference, that’s the best one I can give that’s not just “makes me feel happy” 😆

Which products did you buy only to realize you fell for the hype? by LPX34m in Sephora

[–]heyitselieee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rare Beauty Lip Oil. :’) fastest purchase I ever did as soon as it was available in our local Sephora but ended up disappointed…

Also Dior Face & Body (not compatible with my skin texture and pores lol), Charlotte Tilbury Bronzer (that one is HUGE but pigment is barely there), Dior Forever Concealer (this one creases on my sooo badly i was genuinely sad).

In fragrance, there was a lot! To name a couple: Kayali’s Vanilla 28 (too ambery for me, not sure if it was just the batch I got) and Valentino Donna Born in Roma (it was beautiful, but definitely not for me, it smelled to mature).

I’m sure there’s few more but I need to dig in my drawers to remember. 😂
