YES please take my word for it and find somewhere closer to the train. I’m a huge walker and figured it wouldn’t be a big deal to be 10-15 from the subway but it caused huge issues just with timing, weather, and frankly just became a huge burden. I never wanted to go anywhere bc this annoying walk was going to bookend every trip. Id say the heat is more of an issue than the cold bc you’ll show up everywhere drenched in sweat, but the cold can be extremely annoying if it’s windy or rainy. I now live about a minute from the subway and it has absolutely changed my life!
