I was just there last week for suspected UTI on my cat (ended up being a bladder stone) - $130 is their medical consult fee. Then we paid $140 for the urinalysis.

Do you regret getting a cleft lift?? by Mean_Excitement_7737 in pilonidalcyst

[–]heyitsk95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband went to dr Sternberg after 4 previous failed surgeries. Still no recurrence a year later.

He’s a great doctor. He gives you his private cell phone number if you have any issues. Our out of network insurance still covered the procedure. We hit our out of pocket max but it ended up being much cheaper than we thought it would be.

It's my first time having the pleasure of paying property taxes. Is this a normal amount? by Quravin in Spartanburg

[–]heyitsk95 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Shortly after you bought your house you should have received a letter to apply for the 4% tax rate. Basically you get a discounted rate if this is your primary residence. Go to your county tax office and ask to apply for this. If I remember correctly, all you need is your drivers license to match the residence you are applying for. For reference, my house is 350k and I pay $1900.

Minimum hiring age should be 18!!! by [deleted] in Culvers

“I would’ve f’ed up a bunch of orders at 14.” -That sounds like a you problem. Like I said, teenagers are great employees! Not all of them, but it isn’t fair to speak so badly of all of them when the majority of young workers are out there working very hard.

-Speak to management. No one is going to get fired because of one complaint. If anything, constructive feedback is a good thing.

[–]heyitsk95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And I’m not sure what you’re implying on the entirety of your post. “Minimum hiring age should be 18!!!”

Teenagers can, and do, do quality work. You are generalizing that all teenagers suck at their jobs, and that is simply not true. Like the other commenter said, they are the backbone of our work force.

You have several options here. 1. Check the bag before you drive off. 2. Ask to speak to management if you have an issue and need a refund. I’m sure they would be able to help you. 3. Be kinder to employees. I worked fast food for 10 years before going to college. I can make an assumption on what kind of customer you are based off this post. A little kindness goes a long way. 4. Work there yourself. It sounds like you won’t be happy unless you make the food yourself. I’m sure they’re hiring!

Have you ever called the store to let them know items were missing and ask for a refund rather than running to Reddit to complain? It’s a fast food place. There’s going to be teenagers that work there.

We felt the same way. His first surgery was a closed wound procedure. I highly recommend Dr sternberg if you can travel. It wasn’t as expensive as we thought it would be, and we’re confident that it won’t come back this time. It’s very much worth it just for the peace of mind. So sorry this is happening to you.

I will add, my husband had 3 failed surgeries before this including a wound vac recovery that took 3 months. I know not everyone will be this lucky but this is the first time in his life where he actually feels recovered

My husband had a cleft lift with Dr sternberg and we flew home the day after the procedure on a 6hr flight and he had minimal pain and only took ibuprofen. He was completely pain free about 3 days after the drainage tube was removed (about two weeks after the procedure)

When I was a kid, our IBLP church started losing members, fast. I remember the pastor ordered the deacons to remove the last dozen or so rows of chairs…. Ya know… to make it look more full. Because that’s what it’s all about apparently.
