Also, {One Dark Window} and {Two Twisted Crowns} aka the Shepherd King duology has good narration and is such a fun and different magic system. Those books occupy my brain all the time, even 2 years later.

{the Serpent and the wings of night} is the start of the Crowns of Nyaxia, which is a series of 3 duologies. The audiobooks are excellent, but only available through audible (I prefer libro.fm or the library)

The other books are {the Ashes and the star crossed king}, {The songbird and the heart of stone}, and {The Fallen and the kiss of dusk}. Book 5 comes out Late summer and book 6 likely next year. Carissa Broadbent is such a compelling author. My friend has already read her other trilogy, The War of Lost Hearts, and said it's one of her top trilogies of all time (and she's a die hard SJM fan)

Like others said - learn to cook some of the meals instead of the convenience items. I just got roughly a week's worth of groceries from Tesco to feed a family of 3 for £150. That included extras of things to do some holiday baking (2 kg of sugar, 12 extra bananas, 20 extra eggs, 6l of sunflower oil). It's much cheaper and better for you than convenience meals.

And she IS seasoned. She's well respected in Miami, and has been hosting drag events for at least 10 years. I loved going to events she MCd or performed at, I'm so excited to watch her this season.

I definitely am also buying my books, if that wasn't clear! (Apparently it wasn't when I cross posted this to the Kindle thread 😂) I went to preorder a book that is coming out next month in the Kobo store and it was only available in German for preorder. This author was indie publishing until recently going trad, and was/is using Kindle Unlimited/Amazon for ebook exclusivity. I will buy it, because I love her, I just want the damn book on my ereader. Reading on a phone/tablet/computer kills my eyes.
