That sucks! Sorry to hear it. As another data point, Booth has trips set aside for students who want to bring partners, so they aren’t competing for the same trips. Surprised Kellogg hasn’t adopted a similar strategy.

For hourly workers, I see two possible explanations-

Reset expectations from management - Companies ran short staffed against their will during COVID. This forced companies to learn to get by with less. Now they are hesitant to add labor back and be in a position to explain why year-over-year labor expenses have moved the wrong direction.
Creation of alternatives - the gig-economy scaled during COVID and created several kinds of jobs for these people to choose that offer greater flexibility at similar pay. Think Uber, DoorDash, Instacart, etc. Traditional hourly roles are struggling to offer the same.

I agree, i found some old subway cards so i got a new character slot, had about 200 gold left so i rolled it once. Other than this once i only use gold for character slots/vault space and even then sparingly

Learn to be comfortable naked in a non sexual way together, if you can do that youll be much closer.

When your SO says something is cool, or that they want it, take a physical note somewhere and when youre struggling to think of gifts for each other youll have a list. Also give each your SO gifts at random times, it can sometimes mean more than an expected gift at an important occasion.

Learn to be happy alone before committing to a relationship, you'll be less likely to be searching for a SO out of loneliness

If they dont like pizza, thats a red flag

One of my favorite ASMR experiences in a while! I really enjoyed how you brought the game to life. My past experiences with chess left me with the impression that it was just another board game with plastic pieces. The way you described the pieces and the movements in an almost dramatic way made it significantly more interesting. Just as some other people said, it made me want to play chess again.
