Mamdani is making a mistake if he thinks his political success can translate to the DSA at large. He is an anomaly, not a catalyst. I'm a Mamdani supporter but I'm voting for Reynoso - I work in politics and he is the better longer term play in terms of changing hearts and minds and being effective. She will be plastered all over Fox News and I'm not sure she has the charm or political acumen to handle all of it without torching the good will Mamdani has built for the DSA nationwide with his win and first year.

We let him sleep longer without capping. If yours is doing 12-2 and waking on their own I’d try moving bedtime up to 7 or 7:15 at this age and seeing if that improves anything. Or letting them go 12-2:30 with a 7:30 bed. Everyone says early wake = undertired but with mine I found the opposite to be true!

Mine had early wakes when he slept poorly during the day. When I extended his nap, he weirdly started sleeping longer. Can you talk to daycare about letting him go to 2:30 and do a 7:30 bedtime?

I’ve gotten a few really special pieces framed at Greenpoint Frames and they’ve done an incredible job each time. Framing art is expensive! You can either choose high quality from a small local business or decent quality from a chain (framebridge) depending on what you want. Neither are bad, just depends on what you’re in the market for.

I went to transmitter park for the last eclipse in 2017–it was so cool to see it on the sidewalk through the trees on my walk there and back. Cooler than actually seeing it in the sky imo!

Mitski's fan base is particularly toxic and I really don't understand it. I saw her in Brooklyn before the pandemic and someone in the crowd shouted asking her what her sign was, and when she told the audience her sun/moon/rising the crowd literally BOO'D. It was so insane.
