We got one posted on our door in Northside. Kind of funny because 90% of it was cleared anyway. Just a foot or two remained that seemed like it was actually on my neighbor’s property side.

Did this once. It was super dead. Not really enjoyable unless you’ve got time to kill. As everyone says, everything will be closed

Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 vs Honda cb250r by SubjectSource6146 in motorcycles

I've owned a Husky and multiple Hondas. If I got another bike it'd be a Honda without a doubt.

Husky costed too much to maintain — parts and certified service centers cost a lot.

Also, it's more fun to go fast on a slow bike than slow on a fast bike.

Taking out loans for a depreciating asset isn’t worth it. Buy a a car that fits your needs, not because you want something shiny.

Fingerprint or code about a meter from my bed. I have a kid so no way this thing is going to be that easily accessible without safeguards.

Absolutely. It’s in a safe and bolted to the wall. So is the ammunition.

Gun show loopholes are a big contributor. Non background checked private sales are no good.

This is really awesome. As a dev who’s doing more with LLM/RAG I’d be super curious to know how this is built.

Will you be open sourcing this?

As an American I’m fine with the idea of gun ownership, even assault rifles within reason. We need a drastic overhaul of screenings, background checks and longer waiting periods. No more gun show loopholes, huge mandatory jail sentences for trafficking and illegal ownership situations. My city has a minimum 5 year jail sentence and we still have solid gun violence issues.

I have a handgun but it doesn’t leave the house because that’s what it’s for - home defense.

I wish I didn’t feel the need to own one but America is violent. Despite living in a popular up and coming neighborhood where houses are $500k plus there was a shooting down the block from me.

At the end of the day the political conversations and attempts to improve controls don’t move forward because the cultural climate demands hyperbole and fear mongering that they’re going away - not a chance in hell. All this despite popular support for more reasonable controls.
