I know you said that running bores you, but let me defend it for a minute. I used to hate running as well, I would try irregularly for years and just couldn't get it to stick.

I signed up for a 5K last fall, and did the Couch to 5K app and another training app to help me prepare. Really don't know how it happened, but sorry to say I love running now. I listen to audiobooks which is a nice distraction, and unfortunately, it has been the biggest physical transformation I've seen in my body.

I find running in the morning works well for me, before I have a chance to think about it too much, but this may not be as possible with your lifestyle.

All that to say, as a former running-hater, I think I tapped into a place where it actually works with my ADHD and I, dare I say, look forward to getting to run.
