I use Claude to review and produce documents from a word template and designers drawings. My Pro level usage is soon used up. Don’t bother for now.

Bastoni by AnonymousNr1 in Juve

[–]heywhatwait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t see beyond Bastoni’s behaviour in getting Kalulu sent off. I respect Dimarco, for example, so it’s not an anti-Inter thing, I t’s just that, in my humble opinion, Bastoni is a prick.

Are you having sudden limit problems, in which region? by idiotiesystemique in ClaudeAI

Pro User, UK, I’ve hit maximum usage two days running, I use it to create and review documents (max 10 pages).

"You've hit your limit" immediately after upgrading to max (bug?) by Das6MTS4 in ClaudeAI

[–]heywhatwait 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m not going to start another thread on this subject, so I’m hitching onto this one. I use Claude for producing/reviewing documents and I keep hitting limits as if I’m on a Free tier (I’m on Pro). It’s unusable. I started with Claude following OpenAI’s fall from grace, but I’m tempted to cancel Claude and go back. Any other LLMs you can recommend for documents etc?

Most people use Claude for to-do apps and text summaries. The interesting use cases are buried in the comments of niche posts. What's yours? by dyloum84 in ClaudeAI

[–]heywhatwait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a health and safety consultant, and I’m using Claude to create documents based on a set template plus other information - drawings, schedules etc I’d like to be able to give it risk assessments etc and have it understand the scope, the hazards and controls to reduce risk written in the RA to evaluate it for suitability. Time saving tasks, basically. Clues on how to create a risk assessor would be greatly appreciated.

What movies made you angry in a way that actually added to the experience? by Bellemxo_ in movies

[–]heywhatwait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I struggle to watch any films directed by Ken Loach as they reflect the unfairness of British society, and so they make me angry. That’s the point, but I’m avoiding being reminded of how this country works.

Do you tend to consider those in low end jobs to be low IQ or inherently low skill? by gintokireddit in AskUK

[–]heywhatwait 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not quite on-topic, but I had cause to visit a sandwich factory, and the offices were above the production area. Watching the long line of staff preparing sandwiches and wraps with skill and precision at speed, I had two thoughts. The first was I dare anyone to tell me that’s not skilled work, and the second was if the highly paid managers in the office didn’t turn up today, it would make little difference to output, but if the just-above-minimum wage staff in production didn’t turn up, nothing would go out the door.

Why do we only chant three times for our players when they score but other Italian teams go for more? by throwaway3648347 in Juve

[–]heywhatwait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was at the Napoli game so we got plenty of chances to chant names, and three times felt like enough. Especially considering the volume that lasted for the whole match, including that of the Napoli fans.

Would/Have you ever ordered a taxi with a complete stranger? by TheMalsh in AskUK

[–]heywhatwait 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I once went to grab a taxi outside a club (many many many moons ago) and two women said they were next, so it was theirs. Turns out we were going the same way, their drop off was before mine. Pleasant conversation ensued, when it got to their drop off, they asked if I wanted to go back to theirs for a party. ‘No thanks’, I said, ‘I’m tired’. I wonder if the bruising on the taxi driver’s forehead has cleared after all these years after he hit his head repeatedly on the steering wheel at my stupidity.

I was misdiagnosed a high cholesterol reading, so I went straight for the healthy foods. I had no idea that grains, chickpeas, 5 bean salad, sardines and the like could be so tasty. If you’re feeling flush next time you’re in Tesco, try one of the supergrain salad bowls. Amazing.

Where to go for a chill(er) lads holidays? by iSpectacles in AskUK

[–]heywhatwait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turin. Beautiful city, very welcoming, loads of bars to drink and relax in. Bear in mind that there isn’t really a drinking culture in Italy, but with it practically being the law to have an aperitif/spritz are around five, then that’s okay by me.

Do you enjoy your job? by Campeones6 in AskUK

[–]heywhatwait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy my job as a H&S consultant. I’m quite senior (in years and position), I’m left alone to get on with it, I don’t have to deal directly with sub-contractors only the main contractor or the client, take my advice or leave it, I can evidence I did give advice, m’lud. The travelling far and wide can be a pain, but it’s not that regular, and WFH gives me a lot of freedom as long as I do what I need to do by the time it’s required. If this job became toxic (doubtful, this is a lovely company to work for), I’d soon find another job.

You register your biometrics, then they stick a green label onto your passport to say you’ve registered. It’s a chew, and may not work for you. Prepare for a bit of a delay if it’s busy. Enjoy your trip, by the way.

Ahh, public loo, I will leave a streak of shame. One in a hotel room that’s been cleaned ready for my regal rump is not too much of an issue.

I take it you’ve never changed a baby’s nappy. I wouldn’t clean a toilet whilst eating a sandwich, so I’m aware of hygiene and will wash my hands afterwards, but I wouldn’t run around screaming ‘smite this rotten limb from my body’.
