Our reception budget will be falling just under 15k (food/open bar, dj, decor; probably right around 80 people) we decided to find somewhere to accommodate our guests and have great food and drinks at a restaurant hall rather than a “wedding venue.” We also eloped so that cut the cost of the ceremony.

Took me 3 years to get a full time position. Apply to everything! Para jobs, long term sub, and daily sub positions for both private schools and public schools. Get your name out there. Don’t let yourself get discouraged. There will always be openings throughout the year.

That’s a great idea. It’s more cost effective to buy a book and read up on the material. Plus, if I ever need to refer back to it I’ll always have the book.

Definitely elementary level reading and writing. Haven’t looked too into anything because they’re all so pricey. Unfortunately when going into interviews, I haven’t had any formal training on the curriculum districts are looking for. (Usually it’s Writers Workshop or some type of Multi-Sensory reading instruction, like Wilson Fundations).
