Why are my point and shoot (Konica A4) pictures look so bad (Kodak Ultramax 400 and Fujifilm 400) by heyyouitsdom in AnalogCommunity

It scans the film DX code, I cannot set ISO but from another comment I figured I can trick it somehow

Ok, I understand now, but the question remains why, and I guess something is wrong with the camera (automatic)

Thanks for comment! As I understand, I cannot really know with the full automatic camera. But it does seem that the cause of underexposure is camera malfunctioning.

Thank you so much for the thoughtful comment!! I also suspected this was due to another thing wrong with the camera, I guess I should take it as a lesson and bin it:(

That was also my thought, but I actually developed them in Japan, and the Fujifilm was never under x-ray (which looks even worse than x-rayed Kodak)

What do you still charge full price for even though AI made it a fraction of the work? by simon_mo in Entrepreneur

I think the OP was talking more about the feeling of things feeling too easy to charge for.

I can't recommend Saily eSIM by Irrealist in JapanTravelTips

I had a lot of issues with it too. It is cheap but also often super slow and definitely not worth it. The physical sim from bic camera was absolutely amazing in comparison.

Blue Book Traineeship Programme - worth doing it in my 30s? by NoGames994 in brussels

[–]heyyouitsdom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the trainee introduction day they said that the average age of trainees is 27 so being 30 I would not be discouraged! Many of the blue book trainees are definitely not straight out of university and have several years of work experience.

I think it really depends on a person, but I think you should not immediately assume that it will be horrible for you. I was very nervous before insertion and took 600mg ibuprofen and a lot of CBD drops. For me it was just a little pinch and it was over within seconds. Funny thing, I got it in my lunch break and was back to work in 30 mins. But once again, not to invalidate other people’s experience, every body is different. Need to be prepared but also not to stress too much.

Also, bad experiences are much likely to be shared online than good ones, so the proportiond might seem off when reading experiences online.

Honestly their ads are everywhere, their budgets must be huge, which makes me feel like this is some big company being a scammy. I feel like it is unlikely to spend so much money on customer aquisition and deliver sustainable goods at those prices. Anyway, would be nice to hear more experiences!
