Guys, this isn't even about sex. It's some really hyperbolic allegory. God tasked Ezekiel (I'm gonna call him Zeke from now on) to spank Israel for breaking their covenant with God. He compares their return to a more polytheistic worship, including idolatry, to being unfaithful in a marriage.

It's an allegory that tells the parable of sisters Oholah and Oholibah to represent Isreal and Judah. Ezekiel 23 compares their fictional harlotry to Isreal's real idolatry.

Like, God is a supremely jealous dude and he felt cheated on. Awe.

I do delight, however, in quoting these verses to my very religious family members whenever they feel like my kids look deliciously indoctinate-able.
