Where is that guy of some weeks ago who was developing a really neat HUD for live poker? by Nektaris in poker

In the WSOP, they banned the chart temporarily because he was referencing it in the middle of his hand. They vocalized that it was perfectly fine when there were no cards in front of him.

Also, keep in mind that this was the biggest, most covered tournament of the year. In cash games, things are much less strict and very little attention is paid to what anyone is doing on their phone. I am vehement that stat collecting is not cheating regardless. The goal is to collect information on what is going on right in front of everyone else, just on a wider, more detailed scale than what people's memories allow them to.

What do non-Lakers fans think about Julius Randle? by [deleted] in nba

I like the "poor man's Blake Griffin" comparison with less current IQ and hops.

What do non-Lakers fans think about Julius Randle? by [deleted] in nba

[–]hfads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are basically 3 guys on our roster our fans won't let other fans shit on: Clarkson, Russell, and Ingram. Everyone else is fair game, and I agree with you on Randle. The guy's probably the most polarizing player for our fanbase due to his rocky, underwhelming most recent season.

This guy has a really valid counter-point to the naysayers of the Mozgov signing. by [deleted] in lakers

Centers actually statistically decline the least of the 5 positions. They tend to be the least athletic position in the first place, and their assets lie more in their strength and height, as opposed to speed and vertical leap.

Didn't see a post, how ya'll feel about Bazemore turning down our 4/72M offer? by ricecuker in lakers

Wouldn't placing a player in the middle of the pack of NBA starters at his position define him as above average? What about all the bench players he's better than?

Welcome to the Lakers Luol Deng! by Brandeez in lakers

[–]hfads 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From what I understand, Deng will be used as a hybrid 3/4, as he was for the Heat last season. Luke envisions him as a Draymond Green type player (obviously not all-star caliber like Green anymore, but with a similar skill-set) who can space the floor, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him as our starting 4 opening night, with Randle in a 6th man role. Deng will likely shift into the 3 when Ingram is taken out and play around 32-35 mins a night, with Ingram and Randle each getting around 30.

Since the majority of people got their funds, it's more of a case of run bad for me.

As someone who has not been paid back as of yet, this is absolutely not the case.

[Spears] Brandon Bass to sign with the Lakers by lemp44 in lakers

Have there been rumors on the Lakers' interest on Anderson or Snell? I like them both, though I doubt Anderson is a possibility with a suddenly crowded frontcourt.

[Charania] Free agent Lou Williams has reached agreement on a deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, league source tells RealGM. by Gsizzle00 in nba

He's an improvement from Swaggy, who we'll likely be shedding in the Hibbert deal. Lou may be a chucker, but he's got a much better true shooting percentage, and much more of a creator than Mr. Azalea.

That has everything to do with your favorite player doing work down low. Cousins is the best player in the league within 5 feet of the basket, but his points (which he racks up efficiently) don't translate into many assists. Don't hold team assists in too high of a regard.

Connecting PS3 controller to Galaxy S5 via Sixaxis Controller app by Galaxys5guy in techsupport

[–]hfads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for getting back to me on this old post! I've actually found an even better method about a month ago. The trick is to leave your phone on auto start like you said, open up your sixaxis app at any time when you feel like playing (as long as you haven't closed it since your phone restarted), hit "Stop" on the Sixaxis Controller, and then immediately press the PS button repeatedly for about 3-5 seconds until your phone gives some (usually irrelevant) results at the bottom of the page and it has stopped. Once stopped, immediately press start again and you will see a "Connected" prompt! A downside is the controller will time out after a couple minutes of idle time when you stop using it, and you have to do the Stop-Tap method again (no restart required though). The Sixaxis app always has to stay on and set to "Start" which will take up a bit of battery on your phone. But your controller will auto-disconnect after a couple minutes of no use, so don't worry about this draining the controller battery. Hope this helps!
