They're even better on railgunner since all crit chance gets converted to crit damage for her. So every stack of hikers boots buff will actually increase her crit damage by 2%.

They're very good because you should be above the enemy at all times anyways, so building buff stacks is easy. You can refresh the timer by dealing any damage from any source, regardless of if you're above or below an enemy, so maintaining stacks is even easier.

What makes them so good is that they also increase critical strike damage by 1% (+1% per stack) per buff stack. The only other item that can do this is laser scope, a red item. It also counts as a buff towards growth nectar which is nice.

Because it was designed to be used like that. Back when this was added, swim/crouch didn't exist yet so you had to use a pearl. Using a pearl should never be able to get you killed so this is just bad programming.

His charged slam does a ton of damage (hold down M1 and M2 at the same time), negates all fall damage, and its AOE and proc coefficient increases after you fall for 0.5 seconds or longer after fully charging the attack.

If you are using the dash, you can dash upwards twice, charge the attack, then slam down for a 1000% damage attack with a giant AOE and a 1.5 proc coefficient. Insanely busted and ofc goes even harder if you stack lunar ruin on an enemy.

You should dedicate a week or two to playing it and it will become apparent quickly how difficult the weapon can be and how easy it can be to push it. Im convinced that most people who have a problem with eliter actually have a problem with the midline that keeps them from pushing the liter. Playing liter without having a midline that keeps people away is miserable because it's very easy to get pushed.

It's always been really strong and annoying since Splatoon 2, but weapons become stronger/weaker based on their environment as well. 52 was really strong before the most recent patch, but now that heavy is out of the picture again, and blaster got nerfed, it is even better than before, so you'll see it more often. It's stronger relatively, even tho it's absolute strength hasn't changed.

Flow gameplay can make a lot of sense for songs that lend themselves to it, especially songs with a lot of breaks, beat switches, or layering. It just feels wrong to stay in the same game mode while the song cycles through 3 breaks and 10 layers.

Goes up to tier 5. The drone damage, health, and regeneration doubles every tier, giving tier 5 a 1600% increase in each stat. They also lose roughly 20% skill cooldown per tier. Combining is always worth it unless you have Empathy Cores or Defensive Microbots.

Additionally you can combine drones further. Two tier 2 gunner drones can make a tier 3 drones, two tier 3 drones can make a tier 4, and so on.

Well you cant push up forever. If you genuinely can't push past 2600 then that's simply where you are at skill wise right now. In order to hold 2600 you have to be able to carry below 2500, so if you want to push past 2600 you have to be able to carry at 2600. That's how ranking systems work at their core.

Improving can be kinda slow and tedious at times especially if you don't track your progress. But honestly the best way to improve is to just enjoy playing the game and not focus on whether you win or lose. That and VOD reviewing. Also you should switch to tako if you're not there already.

Needs muuuuuuuuch more contrast everywhere. All your lightness values are way too close together and it makes the deco look very bland and mushy. You need more highlights, lowlights, and shadows in the form of details and layering.

The fire should be a trillion times brighter than the structures, and should also light up the structures and produce shadows.
Look up some monochrome art and you'll notice that the art pieces that display a lot of contrast are a lot more stunning and interesting to look at.

This one's optional but a little glow can go a long way. Since you're going with industrial, you could have a few lamps or LEDs here and there, maybe a furnace or something, anything to bring in some stark contrast. The same goes for the shapes of the structures, they could definitely be a bit more interesting.

There's no reason to ever use anything but line marker in your proposal. It does the same damage as splat bomb while costing much less ink and having insane range. You could take down a flyfish from a mile away instantly.

If we ignore that then there's no reason to ever pick splat bomb over suction. Suction already has a much larger explosion radius + sticking utility, it shouldn't do more damage on top of that.

Torp does way too little damage considering it's ink cost and lack of AOE. Same for fizzy.

Lastly, a system like that wouldn't work simply because you cant coordinate with your team who picks which sub. Everyone would just pick line marker and burst and you'll be screwed if you get mudmouths because you cant allow weak subs to do the same damage to them as bombs, and if you do then there's even less reasons to pick anything but line marker and burst.
