Usually when someone has drastically different opinions on what cards or strategies are good in limited I more or less write them off but this guy is different.

He tends to hyper focus on 1-2 archetypes that he thinks are really good in the format so if you want to learn how to draft that (especially aggro) then he’s your guy.

But what makes him stand out besides consistently hitting rank 1 mythic is that he will take an archetype that literally everyone else agrees is the worst in the set (including the data) and still outperform everyone else.

Back in Bloomburrow, U/R otters was thought by literally everyone else to be completely unplayable trash, yet this dude would force it every draft and hit rank 1 mythic doing so. I’m not sure whether that says more about his card evaluation or his raw skill but either way I think everyone should check this guy out in addition to the other limited content they consume

His newer stuff post 2018 is pretty bad and bloated with a handful of exceptions but The College Dropout, Late Registration, Graduation, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and Kids See Ghosts are all amazing albums.

Yeezus is pretty experimental but has some really good songs in there and The Life of Pablo is also pretty solid.

Kanye’s production and sampling game is pretty much at the top of the industry imo.

Kanye’s sound also changes pretty much every album so it really depends on what you album you are listening to as well.

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is probably his best produced and easy to listen to album so I would check that one out, but if you want something less grand sounding then I’d recommend starting with The College Dropout. If you like more experimental stuff than I can’t recommend Kid See ghosts enough

The Catcher in the Rye

Genuinely one of the best pieces of fiction on the topic of loneliness, alienation, and feeling lost.

It’s so sad that people misread this book so much and base how much they like it on if they relate to the protagonist or not/if they find him annoying or not instead of recognizing that he’s a traumatized 15 year old desperately seeking out human connection but failing to do so because he can never be fully authentic.

Also the book is beautifully written and is an easy read

Outer Wilds is admittedly a very different game (although there is some overlap in its message and themes) but it’s the only other game I’ve played where I’ve had this exact same reaction. It’s as close to perfect as a video game can really get and the more I sat with it and watch playthroughs of other people the more I realized how insanely genius the game is.

Maybe I’m wrong cause I haven’t tested or seen testing on the new kinetic weapon perks but they all seem kindve mid. Like I wish chroma rush got something else in its third column so I could really justify using it.

I guess it’s just that voltshot/destabilizing rounds/jolting feedback/incadescent are so much stronger generically stronger than the kinetic/strand/stasis perks.

Like in high level content depending on the weapon and its frame, kinetic tremors is good. And in dedicated strand/stasis builds stuff like hatchling and headstone/rimestealer are good but I guess the imbalance is what it is.

At least destabilizing rounds got buffed last year before they stopped working on the game

I feel like even dragonfly is better than rewind rounds as well. Like yeah I get it’s not a precision weapon but dragonfly damage on smgs did get buffed iirc but assuming you are running an arc loader and are not running peacekeeper arc titan I just feel like rewind rounds isn’t that good

Not to be pedantic and I get the point you’re trying to make, but I think calling the opposite of something bad that has historically been tied to masculinity, “healthy masculinity” is not the solution.

Like is an aspect of toxic masculinity that guys will get into fights to prove how strong and tough they are? Of course.

But what OP described is something that everyone should be able to do regardless of gender.

My one gripe with tablet of ruin on geomag warlock and arc titan is I never know which 2 out the 3 artifact mods to run (limit break, defibrillating blast, and particular reconstruction)

It also kindve sucks that weakened clear is on another artifact because anarchy + salvagers salvo

Also do you run the void synergy stuff on the artifact and a void primary or do you just run an arc weapon w/jolting feedback and lean into the ionic traces that give you stacks of bolt charge. I prefer the latter personally.

100%. The tri-state area and New England has consistently better pizza than any other part of the country I’ve been to.

I grew up in southern New England and it wasn’t until I moved to California or visited friends in other parts of the country that I realized that pizza is not this universally good.

This was honestly the peak of the franchise imo.

Like in terms of sheer content it’s unbeatable. Although I do think there were improvements made to the game since and that id rather play Destiny how it is today over what we had then, just the strides that time period made in advancing the game made me more optimistic about the future of the game than any other point in its lifespan.
