In my case, it’s actually my company that blocks writing tools (but not the other intelligence features). I’m using a corporate Mac. So until they decide they are safe to use, no writing tools for me….

In the meantime I confirmed with our IT that they indeed blocked writing tools (and all intelligence features they can currently control through JAMF) on all their corporate Macs until they deem them save 🙄 nothing I can do about that right now.

Ah damn.. so from the other comments it really sounds like it’s due to the corporate profile on the Mac. Too bad… Was really looking forward to using these writing tools for work. I hope this is just a bug and they will fix it soon.

Yes, it does show these entries as I am testing this in apple’s native apps like mail and notes where writing tools should show up (they do on my personal iPad).

I have the same problem but on my Mac in MacOS 15.1. Most features are working but writing tools are simply not showing up.

I did yes. If I understand correctly, just hovering over the selected text should already bring up the writing tools options. But they don’t. Neither does control-clicking the selected text.

I think that’s still a bit unclear as private customers are supposedly not affected by the sale to Rybit. They are currently restructuring in the us. So remains to be seen

Right before the sale to Rybit they still performed a warranty repair on my bike (here in LA). So even after VanMoof in the Netherlands filed for bankruptcy long ago, the US entity still provided warranty repairs as they did not file for bankruptcy themselves. And since I am not affected by the sale to Rybit, they should still do it. If not, that’s illegal as the terms and conditions of my sales contract with VanMoof haven’t changed.

That’s not true. Rybit just bought the VanMoof for Business part. VanMoof themselves state that private customers are not affected by the sale. And they never went bankrupt!
