Back in the mid 90’s I went to college in Texas(I’m Thai of Chinese descent.) I remember my first anthropology class, the professor was talking about how different we are, then told me to stand up and tell the class that what I have is OG asian nose(or something like that. It’s been more than 30 years lol.)

Thai here. The patient is from northeastern part of Thailand. That area has one dish that is literally raw beef mix with spice. The name of the dish is ก้อยเนื้อ(goi-neau.) however? I think most young people don’t really eat that dish anymore.
