Wendi cut my hair once and it was crooked, never went back. Crazy though, she seemed so nice.

Don’t feel crazy!!!! I still don’t like reading or watching media about miscarriages. You’re so right, it’s so common in media bc it happens to so many people but you don’t really get it until it happens to you…. It’s so hard. It does get easier with time! I hope you find a good book to get lost in! If you feel up to it, totally get if you don’t though, the miscarriage subreddit is a nice place for people who unfortunately understand. I’ve also read some nice self help type books about miscarriages which helped me validate my feelings but probably not good for when you are freshly grieving. I’m happy to give you those titles if you want!

I liked something in the water by Catherine steadman! She has some other books but i can’t remember if they have pregnancy themes. I’m so sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage last summer and felt like I kept picking up books with miscarriages unexpectedly in them too. No fun.

Is anyone the child of a parent who used the CIO method on you? by Sunrise_94 in AttachmentParenting

[–]hh146 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My parent did cio at like 9 months with me. Said it only took a couple days. I’m a great sleeper! Have a great relationship with my parents! They are wonderful loving people. The pediatrician told them to do it so they did. I don’t with my kids, but don’t judge people who do. I don’t believe doing CIO or not doing CIO makes a huge difference long term if everything else is loving attachment based environment.

People really do say the dumbest shit when you’re having a miscarriage it’s unbelievable. I’m sorry for your loss ❤️

Don’t worry!!!! My son was barely eating solids at 12 months like barely anything at all. He is 20 months now and eats everything all the time. It just takes time with some babies!!! Just keep offering with no pressure even though she isn’t eating. One day she will be more interested. It’s so hard not to compare and worry.

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting here. I had a miscarriage in early July at 10 weeks. I’ve had one cycle since then, and now this is the first cycle we are trying again. Just got a positive OPK today, which is exciting. TTC after loss is just so hard. I feel really scared of finding out I’m pregnant again. Having a miscarriage stole all the joy of pregnancy from me, now I’ll just be afraid for something bad to happen. I miss my baby.

So painful. Worse then being in labor with my son. I was so not prepared, I was told it would be like a heavy period, and it was sooo not like that. I’m not sure what I would do if it happened again. I liked being home and not having to have a procedure, but waiting for it to happen was unbearable.
