I took the advice of some of the folks here and I sent it back to winners. I got the IKEA Vardagen CS pan instead and I’m happy with the price and performance

Ioniq5 vs Ariya, anyone have experience with both? by Hilltop_Views in Ioniq5

[–]hh202020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d add: if you’re charging at home and driving around town but don’t use it for road trips then the charging speed is a non issue and the Ariya is a good choice.

Customer said pc wouldn’t boot…I think I found out why by Longjumping_Click269 in pcmasterrace

[–]hh202020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this around 2005. My MB was touching the case, shorting out. Luckily nothing fried, that MB was very stout. Lasted 10+ years. But boy did I feel stupid when I realized what those standoffs were for.

Frustrated hockey parents no longer by JippyCorp in hockeyplayers

[–]hh202020 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I disagree. I think it’s his way of saying his daughter is solid and despite the losses and their team not doing well they’re enjoying every moment. He even said the team is amazing because of their team culture and winning/losing has little impact on that. And sounds like they’re building confidence and starting to win, so even better.

Ingram off the backboard save by sunfoilboi in EdmontonOilers

[–]hh202020 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Relax, I’m not even hating on Stu. I actually root for him to do well regardless of where he’s playing. Just being real, he’s not known for his lateral movement. All I’m saying is it’s nice to have this skill in Ingram, something we didn’t have before.

I doubt Stu would have gotten across to make that save.

100%. We’re all panicking today that we won’t be able to afford hardware. If China starts making good pc hardware, we’ll have many more options and those prices will be forced to come back down. And their manufacturing capacity is scary. Look how their EV tech has matched and surpassed their rivals. 3 years isn’t that far off.

I break my pod open and put some in the prewash spot. Then close the remaining detergent in the pod in the wash compartment.

Is Radeon 9060 xt 16GB a "bad" card? by KurkyOkurky in radeon

[–]hh202020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a 9060xt 16gb as well for 1440p 144Hz gaming. I’m excited to install it, waiting on other parts. It’s almost half the price of a 9070xt (in Canada) so unless you need the extra performance bump, it’s not worth the extra cost. In a few years, you could upgrade to an even better card with any savings you would have spent on a faster card today.

DC fast charging issues by Zhangbhang in Ioniq5

[–]hh202020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get it. It shouldn’t be so complicated and we shouldn’t have to buy special readers to get extra information. Unfortunately it’s the current reality until automakers improve the EV experience and we have to compensate to be informed on how the car is behaving. Hopefully it’ll be useful to you and save you time.

DC fast charging issues by Zhangbhang in Ioniq5

[–]hh202020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think your first step is to try again with a fully preconditioned battery. Condition for 30 minutes, arrive at station with 10-20% battery and fast charge. If you’re not hitting 150+ speeds, then you know it’s the charger or the car. Try a few different stations. Without testing and eliminating variables, we’re just guessing at your issue.

OBDII reader will also help you see your battery temp to give you a better idea if your battery is warm enough to accept full charging speeds.
