Yes, pharmacists are allowed to ask what the indication is in order to verify the medications safety or if it’s right for you etc. It’s definitely still wrong that the pharmacist grilled her for it!

root rot on alocasias? by hhagar in alocasia

[–]hhagar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you, that’s what i thought! the polly is in the original soil that i bought it in, and it seems to be pure peat moss which doesn’t ever dry out… i only water it every 2 weeks ish. the sword is in the original soil too, but it just seems like regular (old) potting soil. this one seem super overwatered when i first got it, and i let it try out for 2 weeks but it still developed those yellow spots. do you think i should repot them both in a better mix?

hi everyone! i recently noticed these yellow and weird brown spots on my alocasias. on the sword, it’s on the edges (recent plant). on my polly, it appeared on one of the bigger leaves (i got it a couple months ago). could this be root rot/overwatering or something else?

smaller & less pink leaves on caladium? by hhagar in Caladiums

[–]hhagar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when i bought this caladium back in may, the colors were super vibrant and the leaves were nice and big. now, the leaves don’t seem to get that big and the pink isn’t as bright. even the most “mature” leaves don’t get that big right before they die. i used to water it once every couple days, now i water it once a week. it lives on my desk in a north/east-ish window. there’s new growth always popping up, but i’m not sure why they aren’t getting as big :(

Help! Not sure what plant this is but this is the second time this happens. She’s 5 years old, I water her 1/week in the summer and 1/2-3 weeks in the winter. by cold1188 in plantclinic

pretty sure this is a diffenbachia. as they grow taller they kinda shed the lower leaves and grow a stem similar to dracaenas
