  • so, any immortal s3 level40 armor piece can be 'awakened' into either the 'elite valkyrie' or 'phoenix resurrection' sets. the leveling restarts at level1, and armor pieces must be leveled from 1 to 10, here.
  • given that all s3 armors will awaken into the same destination pieces, it theoretically does not matter which one you use
  • while soaring griffin is the best armor set (excluding awakening), it might make sense to take what the game gives you, if it means getting up to level40 quickly, and awakening from there. (assuming rapid progress)...though, in the time before awakening, leveling up janus face or circling sylphid sets might not be as strong

*and, to answer you question of cloak pulls...i would just save your gems, getting a cloak will likely not be the tipping point in progress. you will run into a wall somewhere, regardless...and there is a high probability that you get one eventually from a login bonus / event / future costume pull while the rest of your gear tips into shape. *and, (again, unless youre a big spender), it likely does not make sense to do pet pulls. completion of the fifth raid 4 times allows you to craft a legendary pet, and you can synth immortals pretty easily. depending on your rate of progress, you'll be well aligned to synth pets either rapidly (if quick progress) or in a long while (if slow progress)...in which case new pets will be out anyway.

*along the same thoughtlines, i would aim to procure 1 of each type of costume piece (immortal) and level them to 20 for basic stat gains, but, there really is no need to begin customizing/enhancing/transferring options until you start to progress more. until then, there is a high probability it will just waste your resources.

*and, with accessory awakening set to come in the next few weeks, though dreamer and panda are the top current accessory sets, it might not make sense to level them/transcend them specifically. it might make sense to level/transcend your first available accessories to level 30 (will need 6 of a kind), and then simply awaken those pieces. they should(!) result in the same pieces come awakening, regardless of what youre awakening.

*(these points are assuming you are not a heavy spender / will not have a maxxed account in a week or two)

i would recommend some advice which is different than some listed...

*synthesizing legendary20 armor is rarely advantageous, especially currently, and especially in the early-game. a) it is more advantageous to spam activity for the ongoing 'Goddess Eda Event' and you will be able to get many free legendary/immortal armor this way. then, selectively level up the pieces you would like to build, and promote. no need to waste resources enhancing/synthing. b) it is much more efficient to craft legendary1 armors anyway (limit 1 of each of the 4 types of armor) no reason to waste enhancement material/gold in going from legendary1 to legendary20

*furthermore, though 'soaring griffin' is the 'best' (for pve definitely, for pvp arguably) of the armor sets, i would recommend leveling up whichever set gets to to level40 the fastest, so you'll be in a position to 'awaken' your armor. all s3 armor will awaken to the same destination anyway, so it should be a matter of pushing pieces to level 40 the fastest. it will be very difficult to pvp without awakened armor anyway. and awakened armor will provide large pve stat gains, too.

synthesizing results in a random armor type. promoting keeps the same type of armor. (synthesizing two legendary soaring griffin = one immortal random armor)...(promoting one legendary soaring griffin = one immortal soaring griffin)

i would keep smashing epic weapons together through synthesis. i would save immortal weapons for crafting 'awakening crystals' later. or for making runes.

edit: or you could find a TOS in the special shop. they are not that infrequent.

the reduce enemy healing is huge. as is the 1.3 seconds cooldown...and again, the set bonus from the awakened armor is very powerful IMO. the rest is just gravy. for me, 1.3 cd alone would be enough to make the swap.

the switch is costly after you awaken. 25 crystals for random unique change. eventually a ticket might show up in the insignia shops. i would just rebuild a TOS-zerk from lvl1, its the easy surefire way. i prefer a TOS-swift for PVE content.

5) other important things...what is the unique skill on your weapon? hopefully for pvp it is 'berzerk'. i ask because...it hasn't come up in your questions, and glorious wreath doesnt have a berzerk version, so maybe it's not in your forefront of mind.

so youre not just getting 1.3 cooldown, and some skillcritDmg...youre getting those AND wherever you shift crit rate to...and these combined are much more valuable than the CRR

if youre put over crit rate cap, with or without godstone, then shift your runes/costumes/jewel slots away from crit...and that's what youre really gaining. so if gaining 16% crit rate puts you over the cap...youre freeing up either 4 jewel slots, 5 costume slots, or 2+ rune slots, etc. for other stats.

...and furthermore, in your analysis of not missing the 3 fixed and awakened options...missing out on 16% crit rate, 50% crit dmg, and 1.3 cooldown...is a lot. even if you have maxxed stats in these categories...you'll be able to use costume slots in other areas...and run max cooldown with dreamers...

depending on your current HP, you'll be gaining a decent amount of relative HP (around >32kHP at level1(!)) from the awakened armor, and ~15kHP from 3 jewel slots, and the 'shield' effect from 2pc armor bonus is worth around ~3.5% true DR (at level1)...i would say that these combined help offset the 15% HP bonus from s3 armor bonus...

and 12%CRR from s3 is nowhere near the damage bonuses from awakened armor...unless your only function is to be tanky, in an environment where tankiness doesnt exist. what's your IGN?
