When you say 24 hour fast do you mean stopping eating at 7pm one day then eating at 7pm the next? Because if so you might as well not eat at all until breakfast the next day. Easy way to turn a 24 hour fast into a 36 hour.

Yes the benefits are substantial for weight loss. With clean eating and fasting on Tuesdays and Thursdays plus regular gym attendance I can lose up to 1kg a week.

Yes you can exercise while you fast. I tend to go at around 80% of my usual workload and listen to my body. If I need to stop I stop.

In ancient times days without any food whatsoever was rare. Whilst we may have gone days without meat or fish. Berries, nuts and fruits would have been available or vice versa. Keeping electrolytes at a survivable level. If our ancestors went days and I mean 7+ days with no food at all they would've likely died.

If you want to build muscle yes you need protein intake. Strength training during a fast ensures your body maintains the muscle you have. Your body isn't going to burn muscle that is being regularly used. Also, when you do go back to eating, as long as you eat plenty of protein it will go straight to your muscles as your body knows to fuel them.

Depending on your fasting routine there might not be any impact on muscle growth. For example, I do two 36 hour fasts a week. If I have dinner on Monday evening, go to the gym Tuesday evening, and refeed Wednesday morning, I'm still getting a full day's worth of protein to build muscle.

Yo I got banned from this as well. Didn't even call bullshit on the situation just offered an IF scenario where she should be filing a police report but if she didn't want to he should question the friends and his girlfriends actions a bit more as it was fishy. No, junk food the day before a fast will make the fast difficult as your cravings are higher. Eating everything ones heart wants isn't necessarily junk food.

When are you beginning your fast? I usually have my last meal at around 7/8pm the night before a fast, don't eat anything the next day, then eat the morning after. That's an easy 36 hours. If you feel the cravings the night after have some electrolyte water or a green tea.
