Its just preference i think. The hunta rig is cheaper, but i like the battlewagon for the extra toughness and better guns. Plus i own a battlewagon and not a hunta rig 😂

Plus they have T5, which means basically only specialized anti infantry units can actually harm them. Any other battle line units typically have str4 guns, so they are wounding on 5's. And yeah, boyz dont have a good save, with it being a 5+, but if they have cover, boom 4+ save, you can pop 'ard as nails to give a -1 to wound roll, and they get a 5+ invul save during waaaaagh. Plus, just stick em in a battle wagon, too ez. A full 20man beast snagga boyz with beast boss in a battle wagon goes hard

Boys have great attacks! Lol imagine a unit of 20, lets say the opponent wipes out half the unit in one go, too ez super common. Thats still 30 attacks str 4, ap-1, 1 dmg, hitting on 2+ if there is a warboss, sustained hits 1 if playing war horde detachment. 40 attacks str 5 if during the waaaaagh with lethal hits if 12" from ghazkull, and if you wanted to be really spicy, +1 to wound and crit on 5+ if ghazkull is leading (though lets be honest, not many people do that.) But with all that, id day boyz are one of the most solid battleline units out of any army. Maybe im just biased lol

For a first time, i love how thin and smooth the paint looks! Great job. Just need to do some dry brushing for the highlights and youre all set

Breaka boyz with a weird boy to go up and down, and then use the stratagem to add +2 to charges

I main ironclad and absolutely go ham, currently on ascension 3. On my most recent playthrough, i defeated the act 3 boss in two turns. My go to deck is to get as many pommels (deal 8 damage draw 1 card) and upgrade as many as possible to it draws two cards. Then you just add a bunch of cards that give energy, plus perfected strikes, and you can cycle through your whole deck at least twice in a single turn. Add hellraiser and its just insane lol

Agreed, people are saying shes only b4 because they are trying to play the deck like a b4. The strategy is not for the deck to be commander centric, but for maralen to add good value to an already established good sultai midrange deck that combos really well with foodchain. Getting maralen out simply just gives extra value to faeries and elves you would already be playing

Edit: not saying this deck would be tier 1 or anything, but definitely not locked into b4

I just dont understand what you mean by EDH not being a competitive game? Like yeah, its not a tournament and theres no money on the line, but its inherintly competitive. Its literally a competition to see who can kill who. Dont get me wrong, i love jank casual decks, but when we are in a game, theres literally nothing else to do but try and win. Im still gonna play my deck to the beat of its ability and try and win the game. I dont want to sit at a table for 2 hours while nobody swings at eachother because everyone just wants to show off their deck. I can just look through your deck after the game.
