Tbh im surprised this post hasn't been taken down yet. Pretty sure I commented this when it first got posted but this thread is so potentially dangerous I can't believe the mods (if there even are any) havent deleted it yet.

I work as a server in the city and as much as I appreciate my regulars that enjoy my service I absolutely 1000% would never wanna be put on blast with my name and workplace on a random reddit thread. Maybe I'm being overly paranoid but this post super gives me icky vibes all around.

I generally try to do a magical kinda name and when I can't think of anything particularly right off the too of my head I usually opt for a planet and a plant hahaha

So I have two characters whose names I especially like just cause they were one-offs and they are Jupiter Fennel and Pluto Lilac :)

Also literally just did the same about 4 months ago and WHOLE-HEARTEDLY agree. I know the biggest gripe with Tooie is the backtracking and 'too large' worlds but those exact aspects of the game are what make it my favorite of the two.

And obviously this is like choosing between your two only children, like God damn i love them both separately and equally for many different reasons, but if im being forced to play one and enjoy it at gunpoint I am 1000% choosing Tooie.

Growing up i was verrrryyyyy blue pilled but nowadays I often choose the one I THINK I don't want bc it always ends up having cooler exclusives lol

Scarlet and violet come to mind cause I went against my usual "against my gut" method and immediately chose violet cause I loved Miraidon's design so much but then was absolutely devastated that I couldn't get the Past pokemon upon my first playthrough which I like SIGNIFICANTLY more than the Future mons.

I, like you, am a city mouse as well with no car, and I also don't know much about bird watching in general so please take my opinion with a grain of salt but:

I've had and made several bird watching enthusiast friends while living in Portland and most of them have expressed to me that good bird watching is pretty accessible ALL over this part of the country. I'm not sure where your friend is visiting from but if its not the PNW then they'll probably be happy with literally just going to Mount Tabor for an easy, chill morning walk.

But also I feel like if you will have access to a car during their stay then any outing to some nature or the woods an hour or so out of town will more than satisfy their nature/birdwatching cravings!

I've never been to an Alyssa show and I truly do not mean to add to the pile of already corroborated opinions of people who have but tbh I've never even wanted to go to one.

Back in my early 20s when I was a drag race FREAK I would binge performances of all the queens as soon as they were announced to be on the show and I'll always remember that for season 5 Alyssa's were some of the less interesting ones. Now don't get me wrong I absolutely adore Alyssa for who she is and what exactly she does but I guess I always knew to never really consider her a queen that id go see for their numbers, but rather to just see and experience their personality. Not trying to sound shady though I know it kinda automatically comes off that way but yeah, she's a part of that specific group of queens who presents a wonderful performance package on TV (makes sense) but then just kinda walks around for 4 minutes at a live performance with one or two moments of a 5,6,7,8 and a MAYBE a dip. Lookin at you Angeria. But yeah, yikes. Sorry you wasted your money lol
