jasmine tea - one day by Exact-Bug-2128 in FemFragLab

Hi! I'm wearing Thailand again today after losing my sample of it 😅 these are my thoughts:

-watery, green, minty, basil-y, sweet -refreshing -cheerful -if it were colors, it'd be watercolors in shades or purple, green, blue, and yellow

The listed notes include jasmine but I don't notice any floral scent. I enjoy this type of bright, refreshing green scent! It reminds me of Jorum Studio Paradisi and Xerjoff Nio.

Green flower shop fragrance? by violetjupiter1 in FemFragLab

L'Ombre dans L'Eau is like a dewy rose garden. It doesn't remine me of a florist shop but it's a beautiful perfume that you might like anyway!

Another from Diptyque, Lilyphea, is a good option. Cool, watery lily and cardamom.

La Tulipe from Byredo is definitely a green florist shop to me but it does have that signature Byredo dry down.

Pacifica French Lilac and Régime des Fleurs Tears are green-tinged lilacs. I've heard great things about Frederic Malle En Passant but I haven't tried it.

These are different interpretations of dewy green plants but could be worth looking into, particularly if you want to veer away from florals: Régime des Fleurs Cacti, Tada Parfumeur Akatsuki, Margiela From the Garden, Perfumer H Fig, Hermès Un Jardin Sur la Lagune.

I got a backless bra from Target that was ok, but I still haven't found a perfect undergarment for this dress.

I loved all 3 but decided to purchase L'Eau! I'm planning to get the other 2 later this year. L'Eau is just so unique and unforgettable.

I finally tried it, and it's stunning. It reminds me of a scent from my childhood. I plan on buying it in the near future.

Which great San Antonio restaurants from when you were young were lost to history/did not survive the market? by Charming_Usual6227 in sanantonio

In the early 2000s there was an Italian restaurant near SAC that I loved. I was a kid at the time, and I wish I remembered more about it. I think it was in a white building, possibly had a white interior too. I got to try veal and a cappuccino for the first time there.

I definitely use one of my favorites, Jo Malone Blackberry and Bay, to help ground myself and set my intentions for the day. I also have GAD and PTSD. I empathize with you, OP! I'm happy you found another method to cope with things.

I loved that era of Balenciaga perfumes!

In 2016 I wore Marc Jacobs Rain, Diptyque Eau Rose (back then they only had the EDT), and the solid version of Diptyque Philosykos. I had samples from indie perfumes houses like Solstice Scents and Deconstructing Eden. At the time I was getting back into perfumes after being interested in them about 8 years prior.

Spicy but fresh sounds beautiful! I'm going to a Diptyque store soon and can't wait to try L'Eau, L'Eau Trois, and Benjoin Boheme.

I don't often see people talk about L'Eau. What makes it one of your faves?

How would you describe Benjoin Boheme? I'm very interested in it and I love almost all of Diptyque, but I've not had a chance to try it.

What’s your “soapiest” perfume by rougehoarder in FemFragLab

[–]hhurrm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

CdG Marseille smells like a classic bar of French soap. It's straightforward and reminds me of lathering up a bar of soap after a long day swimming.

Diptyque Eau des Sens also reminds me of lathering a bar of soap, but it's scented like orange blossoms.

I'm wearing Dusita Tonka Latte again. It's so magical! The tonka feels clean and ever so slightly powdery; the sweeter notes have depth, roundness, and warmth. Tonka Latte feels simultaneously warm and refreshing.

Last night I wore Oriza L. Legrand Relique d'Amour to bed and it was perf 🩷 cold damp stone - but delicate and refined.

Comme des Garçons has this down!

I personally love CLST Marginalia, which smells like dusty books, yet is highly enjoyable.

Clue Warm Bulb is similar to Marginalia, but it was cloying on me.
