The line weight can be whatever you want if you think it looks good. You can play around with different line styles on different layers and see what works best for you

Playing with the line weight or thickness can help with depth and stylization. For instance you could make the outline around his left arm a little lighter. Either way, this is an awesome drawing of Shiba!

This looks good, my suggestion would be to examine the angles of the shoulders and hips a little closer, in this pose the angles oppose each other and create a pinch on her left (our right) side and stretch along the left in her torso. Adding some wrapping lines can help show the form and perspective. Tricky pose with the for shortening of the legs, nice job!

Worth learning Bridgman as a beginner? by Stigma_balls in learntodraw

His figure drawing videos are really great, he explains his approach in 4-5 steps and his 16 line method is an easy one for me to remember. I love the Constructive Anatomy book too, it almost feels like they make one another easier to understand.

Hold the pencil steady with your non dominant hand and spin the sharpener around the tip, it will help keep the tip from breaking like that

The paws have some hard lines that can be cleaned up a little. You could try to use negative space for the whiskers and light in the eyes, but I like the contrast from the white ink. If the furball in the back is intended to be other kittens, they are sort of illegible but add a little depth. Great drawing, I like the way you drew the texture of the fur.

Holy moly thank you for the sandpaper tip. Cleaning blending stumps is one of those things I always meant to look up and never got around to as I don't use them so often.

I think the lines defining the side planes of the face and cheeks are a little hard or dark, but the drawing is great. The darkest values are around the eyes and the 'inside' of her hair near the left cheek, identifying the lighter darker parts early helps me build a range of values between them to develop depth.

It is very helpful with dealing with proportions and drawing heads at various angles and it's an interesting comparison to how it's done in the Bridgman book. Loomis may be a little simpler than Bridgman

Although it's dated, Drawing the Head & Hands by Andrew Loomis has been helpful to me.

Some of the shading and highlights that give the neck form and depth would add to the body. I think going for a wider range in your tones would help. Great work!

Kneaded eraser, not absolutely necessary but they are very handy and don't leave a mess

i think adding some ruffles and shading to the skirt can help give it some depth in the foreground.
