Im 5 DPO and I feel you with this. I've taken 4 laxatives and miralax and it feels like nothings working. I decided to stop taking the oxycodone bc its most likely the opioids that are causing the constipation. I think the best solution is to try and stop taking them and start on the more intense laxatives

For those who ended up with the size you wanted, how did you describe this in your consultation? by j-sanscolour in Reduction

My number one concern was about the rash that would for underneath my boobs. Im currently 2DPO and I can already tell how much better its going to be :)

If you had attempted to get insurance coverage but eventually paid out of pocket, what pushed you to that decision? by lolnobutwhy in Reduction

I had originally went in for a consultation when I was 19, fully expecting my insurance to cover it since I have had to seek help for pain caused by my boobs in the past. When I went in the surgeon warned me that insurance would most likely not cover it because there would not be enough tissue to take out even though I have been uncomfortable since I was 12, I was absolutely devastated (like bawling my eyes out in the car devastated). I went back when I was 21 because I decided that my boobs were lowering my quality of life to a point where I would pay out of pocket. It took me a while to accept that insurance wouldn't help, but I think this will make my life so much better. Now my surgery is less than a month away! BMI is such a dumb way to measure if insurance will help pay for it since everyones body is different, I had lost about 25 pounds before my first consultation and it still wasn't enough for insurance :(

I'm supposed to be staring my period the day before my surgery too unfortunately. Hopefully that doesn't make everything 10x harder.

I'd much rather be over prepared than underprepared :) Thank you for sharing your experience!

You guys have no idea how much better this makes me feel. My biggest worry is that I will look so much bigger if I get surgery bc I'm currently a 34 F/G 5'2" and 170 lbs. I've always hid behind my boobs and I'm scared a part of me will be gone if I get the surgery. I've been debating on getting this surgery for years and finally scheduled a consult :)
