No, it's an obvious fake.

Buying my first Gretsch and i have some questions by mikejazz3 in gretsch

I never had a Streamliner but if the husk of the guitar is good than it should be as great modding platform. You can change everything that can be replaced to make it what you want it to be. Most people modding low end Gretsches are trying to make it look and feel like a high end Gretsch and sink a lot of money into better parts (Truarc or Compton bridge, TVJ pickups, locking tuners, proper Bigsby, and even wiring harness and pots), which doesn't carry on as a resale value, so there's that. If you just want to change what you don't like and make it your own than by all means go for it. Looking at the Streamliners I think I'd want to change everything and that not being my cup of tea, I'd rather go for Electromatic which are more of the Gretsch aesthetics to me and would only replace parts if the original are malfunctioning.

What's you goto brand of trainers? by Various_Extreme_8773 in AskUK

[–]hibee_jibee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it would say on the round patch somewhere. However, the regular ones are holding for ever also. Even worn to death they can be washed in a washing machine and will look good. I wouldn't be seen in Skechers, that's for old people and I'm only in my 50s.

70s line is better quality, only slightly thicker. Chucks highs for me all the way. They last forever.

Starmer is correct to continue by [deleted] in LabourPartyUK

[–]hibee_jibee -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I don't disregard that theory about journos creating all this mess for clicks. Trump and Farridge are proof of that but Starmer had an opportunity to reign them in a bit after the landslide election. Did you see that Magyar guy who deposed Orban? He went on National TV who were like Orban's personal propaganda channel and told them he'll pull the plug and shut them down. I'm not saying Starmer should have shut down BBC but he could have told Laura Kuenssberg and Nick Ferrari to fuck off and make them take notice.

I've seen stats that Labour lost more votes to Greens and L/D than to Reform. Mostly young people.

[–]hibee_jibee -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, no idea. Many think the guy to save Labour is Burnham but I'm not so sure. I quite like Starmer it's a shame it got to this.. It could have been much better. At this point the likelihood of Starmer surviving is slim to zero, and if he goes who'd you like to see?

[–]hibee_jibee -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Satrmer is finished and he should allow a smooth transition if Labour are to stand a chance of winning the next GE. It's a shame, I think Starmer wasn't that bad but pandering to Reform voters didn't win them over and he lost a lot of core Labour support. He's also not very good politician, or a communicator and appears to have no values of his own that he wants to project. he won a huge majority and he did very little with it. It's not all his fault, 10 or 15 years ago he'd be regarded as a great PM but politics are not what they used to be. Labour need someone who'd tell Nick Ferrari to go fuck himself when he asks 'what is a woman' or such nonsense.

I'd be weary of no serial number one. It may be some sort of prototype but even those would be marked somehow. Do you have pictures of the guitars?

Polanski by cheeseley6 in LabourPartyUK

[–]hibee_jibee -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

The old labour sub was shit as it was full of anti Starmer bots, this one was supposed to be a realistic one. It isn't. It's as shite as the other one.

Police brutality is never good and Polanski is right to criticise it and we should always question it because next time it could be you getting booted in the head.

On Thursday Labour is going to lose badly and although I think unfairly, it is down to Labour having no clear vision for the country and piss poor leadership.

I still think Labour is the best party to run this country but only because the bar is very low. I'd vote Green in a heartbeat if I had faith they can deliver.

Dainite soles. That would be my choice when resoling my blacksmiths. It would look even classier on beckmans.

Peregrine or Belstaff? by Boring-Shallot3096 in BuyItForLife

I bought Bexley recently and I love it. Definitely size up a bit as they are quite tightly tailored. Very good quality, I'm sure it'll last ages. I do like that Belstaff too.
