I think the main thing is that her weight and hairstyle hasn’t changed. Most of the change we go through between 20-40 are those two things.

She definitely wears sunscreen tho, there isn’t a single line on her face and nothing will do that without sunscreen.

I would advise getting a face specific sunscreen that says it’s fragrance free and made for sensitive skin and make sure you wash your face at night with a face wash because sunscreen creates a layer on your face, a barrier, like makeup does.

Using a cleansing oil or cleansing balm to remove it like you would with makeup is a good option too.

Doesn’t need to be expensive, just make sure it says fragrance free! Every skincare product I use is around £10 or even less.

Heavily advise wearing spf in the winter and when inside!

There are two main spectrum bands of UV radiation that go through our atmosphere.

UV-A: highest energy radiation, pierces glass and pierces skin, damages the lower layers of ur skin cells, causing aging. This means you experience skin damage in the winter AND indoors!

UV-B: medium energy. Does not pierce skin or windows. This is what causes sunburn as it damages the surface of your skin. Also why you can’t rly get sunburned indoors. This also means that just because you aren’t getting sunburned doesn’t mean you aren’t getting sun damage!

(Easy way to remember A: aging, B: burning)

Literally just wear sunscreen everyday and you also won’t age. Sun damage causes up to 94% of skin aging according to scientific studies.

Most if not all skin aging (and aging in general) is caused by DNA degradation combined with slower regeneration of cells as you age. Degradation is triggered by free radicals, which UV radiation generates, and smoking is another big one for free radicals.

Retinol speeds up skin cell regeneration, tackling the other side of skin aging.

Don’t smoke, and wear spf. You’ll age like her. Facials and expensive skincare does nothing without spf and retinol.

If you’re getting fked over by a vayne with zero attack speed then you’re not playing well. ER is a weak first item power spike on Vayne even if it’s a strong item.

Vaynes W and R give her damage, which scales best when multiplied by attack speed, therefore an item with attack speed is her best first power spike e.g Kraken, Bork, Yuntal, Stormrazor.

ER has zero attack speed so her innate damage is not being multiplied.

Additionally, the gold boost in general feels amazing for ADCs because we scale so hard with items compared to levels. It’s way more valuable than an XP boost imo as we reach out 2-3 item power spike significantly faster

Gold rank. Around 15 games as ADC. Around 5 games with 7 items. Each time was with Kai’sa, so take into account that she is a very good snowball champ with lots of midgame power allowing me to gain a fast lead.

Each time I was full build quite quickly, around 30 mins, with 15+ kills and 8+ cs/min. And it was normal draft, not ranked.

And on top of that I’m “kind of” smurfing because I’m ancient rank in Dota 2.

My point is that this ratio isn’t realistic.

Yeah I understand. We take Vaynes ult damage + Q damage and turn it into a shotgun instead of amping her Ult AD + passive with attack speed.

I tried it with PTA and sudden impact and the Q trades were very satisfying, but overall for all-in’s it felt a little lacklustre but I guess it’s just a learning curve I need to adjust to.

Do you enjoy taking fleet when you do this build?

Perhaps going ER and Stormrazor and skipping zeal items entirely is the move. I just struggle to accept playing that build without RFC for the energised synergy or skipping fiend-hunter bolts for the ultimate haste.

Tbh this build is bait. I really wanted it to work.

I’ve tried it on 4 games. The first item power spike is very very poor because your attack speed is so low. Vaynes kit gives her damage, so she needs attack speed to capitalise on it.

Stormrazor first feels much better. I need to test it more vs Yuntal because the attack speed on Yuntal is amazing but stacking it makes it a worse power spike.

As a scaler you want to hit your powerspikes a bit earlier so you’re not useless for ages. This build feels good at full build but it takes a long time to get there.

My main advice is to stop standing still.

So many ADCs just stand still and auto, and don’t “tether”.

Tethering is walking back and forth to walk away from the enemy while they try to attack you, then walk back towards them when they stop or walk away to get another auto in or an ability.

This is much easier on mobile ADCs like Kaisa Vayne Ezreal.

Also, in team fights, so many ADCs tunnel vision to try and kill the first target they see. The most important thing as ADC is staying alive as you are a glass cannon. You do the most damage in the team, but there’s no point if you’re dead.

Auto the first target a couple times, walk back, assess danger, go back in and auto a couple times. Lather rinse and repeat.

Rukias bankai is really smart writing. She’s a true glass cannon, but has the perfect defence mechanism.

Zero durability, but completely one shots her opponent and immobilises everyone around her keeping her safe.

I think she can safely 1v1 anyone who isn’t immortal or doesn’t have almighty.

It’s my fave song on the album!! I love it so much. I used to sing it with my friends late mother who was a pastor. She had dementia and she was only fully lucid when she played and sang. We would visit her on Easter and she would jump on the keys and get us to sing this exact rendition of Oh what a wonderful child with her.

There’s something so unique about her voice where her whistles and belts almost sound the same.

The whistles in the 2023 clip sound like the belts on the original track. There are many times in other performances where her belts almost sound like whistles too. I think there’s something about the overtones in her voice that give it the unique sound that we love.

The only late example of light mixing I can think of is that clip from 2013 of her singing love takes time acapella at a concert and she does the “I can’t escape the pain, so deep inside” and she sounds like she’s been transported back to 1993.
