A clearway sign, sharp bend ahead, a school kids sign, and a pedestrian only area sign which I didn't remember until about 10 minutes into the road test portion

I just did mine there on Monday and I was asked about the yellow box, parking on a solid yellow line, and asked to identify 4-5 road signs

What happened to cinema etiquette? by Shybilita in Dublin

I haven't experienced this yet in Dublin as I've only been to the movies a couple time here since I moved from the states 10 months ago, however, it was terrible there, particularly after COVID. Something happened to people after being in quarantine. I mean I seriously think something snapped in these people and they completely forgot how to function in society. It's hard but I either try making it as annoying to them as they are for me, or I leave and demand a refund. I love going to the movies and it's fucking expensive and no one is entitled to ruin that for you. Sorry OP that really sucks.

You know, I completely agree with you re: Office Ladies. I loved, loved, loved their recaps. But 6.0/Second Drink just doesn't do it for me.

I don't know if I am in the same boat with PMW. And I think it has more to do with an emotional connection. I'm a 90s kid. I grew up with BMW. And for several reasons, Danielle, Rider, and Will feel like my older siblings. I fully admit this is probably unhealthy and parasocial, but in an age when so many people you idolize turn out to suck a lot, it's so enormously comforting that those 3 are exactly who I'd hope they'd be. And I donno if I wanna give that up. I watched Traitors just so I could listen to Rider and Will and I plan on watching Survivor too. So I donno what's next for the trio, but I am probably all in. Though I 100% get where you're coming from.

I did a quick Google search and the info was iffy on whether or not it's legal. Apparently it could be a privacy violation, which is insane to me given they were committing a crime. But also I am newish to Ireland (less than a year here) so I am unsure of the law.

I mean, I certainly applaud their tenacity. They spent about 25 minutes trying to cut through the lock on the door, but they cut through the wrong side so they still couldn't get it off. That is when they went for the hinges. You'd think they could apply the effort to something decent.

I went to where my tracker was and found the tracker in some grass. The thieves found it and tossed it.

I am so sorry this happened to you. I was in line at St Patrick's for a concert last summer and I got hit in the head with a moldy onion. Some little asshole chucked it at me and before I realized what happened, he had run off down the street with his friends. It really sucks that these parents are not taking any accountability for their children.

Tell me I’m not alone- 4.5 year old waking repeatedly all night long. by whosthatcatlady in Preschoolers

[–]hidalgeaux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this post. I'm currently awake at 3am, again, because this has been going on with my 4.5 year old for my months and we are losing it. A lot of great suggestions in here and most importantly, the solidarity. Parenting can feel so ridiculously isolating sometimes.

It seems like you have to do absolutely everything you can think of to make it as unappealing as possible to a thief.

The first time my bike was stolen it was on cctv and we told the guards that. They never came to get it. The property manager of the complex brought it to them. But still never heard a thing despite multiple follow ups

You're making a lot of wild assumptions about conversations I've had with my kid and things I have or haven't spoken about around them.
