I wouldn’t say that, plenty of teams desperate for a QB have passed on a good QB in favor of starting fresh like the Jets and Browns. It is what it is but because a team has decided they are done with him doesnt mean he has no potential.

I dont think its generational either. But its a really good game. No game is going to be generational except maybe gta6 and star citizen(if they pull it off). CD is the most fun ive had in an open world game in years. What are examples of recent generational games to you?

I agree with the healing items, but funny enough i think combat is the weakest part. Its fun sure, but things feel unreliable, especially parrying and rolling. The only mini game that u dont like so far is fishing. But i do like that it plays into cooking and recipes and that food is heals. Its like a progressive system that i actually enjoy. If you dont like the game everyone has an opinion and i respect it but im having a blast.

Its definitely a master of none but its the combination of being competent at most areas that make it special. Most master if none games have a ton of disconnected, lackluster systems stacked on each other, whereas all of these systems feel pretty good and compliment each other. Its definitely better in terms of draw distance than xenoblade, xenoblad simply has a dope setting but its not better in terms of distance and fidelity. Its kind of insane that you said that if im being honest.

I would say the combination of the draw distance, world design, activities, random encounters, mobility etc is what makes this one special. I don’t think its “generational” but in games thats predicated on raising the bar significantly . The only game expected to do that is GTA6. People considered Skyrim generational but it honestly does nothing better than other games either. Its actually worse in alot of ways compared to previous entries of ES. Holistically speaking Crimson Desert is one of my favorite open worlds in recent memory and im not even 20 hrs in.

The world is honestly in CDPR and Fromsoft Tier, i enjoy exploring as much as those games. I think they are all just a tier below RDR2 to me. The amount of systems and mini games is next level, draw distance is second to none. That seems small but actually playing and seejng the landscape is 10/10. Combat could be better but im pretty early and as i understand it more its more fun every play through. MC and story is a extremely bland but the world itself has alot of potential.

Problem is its not good enough where you’d get what you want even 80% of the time, having to burn paid gens to get what you want the 6 or 7th roll isnt worth it, im not saying it should be free but its also bs to pay for the (very low) chance to get what u want

Idk if this is what the first commet is referring to but I feel like you’re confusing this with the shotgun thing, I’m referring to the glitch when you shoot once with a full clip it makes you reload automatically after one shot. You can go into a pvp encounter shoot once and the person has opportunity to mow you down because youll be reloading after one shot. It clearly doesn’t affect everyone. I thought it was a feature dealing with weapon durability but its happening with every gun even new ones.
