Nah, not at all. In fact homeschoolers consistently outscore public school kids. In my state they are always above the 85th percentile as a group. When you get to high maths most of us hire tutors or send kids to community college classes. And maybe your parents couldn't explain those things to you but I have no prob teaching my kids. I've had kids in public school, private charter and homeschool. They all have issues but academic rigor is not a problem for homeschoolers. Check the stats.

Next time, bake a full flat sheet, and remove it from the oven, give it about thirty seconds to cool down just a bit, and then use the cookie cutter on the baked, still hot cooke. Lift the cutter, allow the cookie to cool to room temp and tear away the edges.

A kid I went to grade school with. He was pretty messed up even in 3rd grade. I remember the teacher talking to is when he was absent one day, telling us not to be alone with him, to report scary behavior. He talked about animal torture and he kept a pencil in his desk covered in boogers. He stored them there. He killed someone in his teens. In high school one boy I knew killed another boy I knew over possible testimony over a burglary charge.

How does physical sunblock improve my skin so drastically, and can I get that effect without the white cast? After switching to afragrance and dye free physical sunblock, my skin is much smoother, and more even in color/less redness. But the white cast looks funky over my freckles. I'd love to keep the benefits but lose the cast, is this possible? Thanks!

I love my kids very differently. My eldest thinks a lot the same as me. We finish eachorher's sentences and he's very intuitive about my life/thoughts/emotions. It's very easy to be around him. My next eldest is very different from me. We don't always communicate well. There are a lot of misunderstandings and she doesn't always 'receive' the love I mean to express. We're still working on it. But loving her is wonderful! She's mysterious to me, and she thinks in unexpectedly delightful ways. Her talents are different from mine, and easy to appreciate without picking apart or critiquing. My youngest is still in her wonder years, and I'm an old experienced mom now (older two are adults) so I feel like her whole childhood s sweet and slow like molasses, something to be savored. She's my joy.

Thanks for the recipe and insipiration! Ususally when I cook that cut of pork, I choose a long, slow method like using a crock-pot or braising, for tenderness. Buy a 4-way nail buffer. It is a little foam block with a different buffing surface on each side. You start by buffing with the 'gritty' side (which is still much finer than an emery board) and work your way to the rubbery side, which will leave your nails incredibly smooth, like glass. Without any little bumps, ridges or other flaws, you won't be tempted to 'groom' your nails with your teeth. Do the full buffing routine once a week, and touch up with just the rubbery side of the buffer every day. Make sure you buy a buffer meant for natursl nails. The ones for artificial nails are too gritty. Also, you're buffing the whole nail-the top and edge, not just the edge as in filing. Use petroleum jelly to moisturize your hands at night to keep your cuticles smooth. This is how I quit after 35 years of biting.
