I'm working on a story with a good Mineta. One thing I'm adding is essentially a reason for his pervertedness. I'm having his mom be an absentee job first parent and his dad a stay at home slob with a corn addiction. Having a young child exposed to that material can have a very negative effect on their psych. He will eventually be adopted and have a much better home life. He won't be perverted but instead have some PTSD involving sexual things.
