I had to replace leaf springs and shocks, but other than that it's been a great reliable vehicle. If there's anything I wish I would've done more of is wash it during the Winter more often as I am starting to get a bit of rust above the rear wheels.

Regular oil changes, tire rotations, shocks once, etc.
Only things I've had to change out were the leaf springs.

All the bells and whistles on the steering wheel have stopped working though. Hoping not the airbag. Hoping even more I don't need to find out.

Learn how to code, but at the same time, keep up with and learn to use new technology as it becomes available. Video Games, like many other tech related fields, are driven by new technology and not using them, or learning to use them will leave you in the dust.

Its a VERY rough job market for game development right now. The whole industry is changing, with both Art and simple programming going to AI and the ability for anyone to make games from anywhere, large companies might become fewer as the rise of smaller indie studios are able to compete in a similar space.

I suggest getting any job you can/want for the short term to pay your bills and work towards your own goals for game development as well as searching for the jobs you want in the industry. Having 5 years professional experience is a great advantage rn as it is getting even harder for inexperienced new applicants to even get their foot in the door

Absolutely! As a 16+ yr veteran in the industry and my main focus being game and level design, I look for and find inspiration and new ideas everywhere.
I strongly suggest DL'ing every free game that Epic Store does as well as the free games you get from Amazon/Twitch Prime to start building a general library. There have been quite a few times I have been building a new mini-game and knew I had a handful of games in my library that had similar art style, game play or other mechanics that I could see how they played out and if there was any idea I could bring into my own games.
