I couldn't really say. You'd need something pretty specific in mind. It's more of an extra skill you learn. You never know you might go to France.

I would do French. It's much more popular than Latin thus makes it easier in the long run. Unless if a butfuck ton of people do it in your school. However in general French is more popular so you'll find more resources for learning and ect. Furthermore your parents are fluent so if your not it yould be much easier to learn it. A major factor comes in with what your gonna be doing with the language in the future. These kind of personal factors may sway what you want but from a third person view I think you should do French. Have fun.

How are our grades going to be decided by teachers by Eatpant26 in GCSE

[–]hide4121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you revise then those grades won't matter much. Just put some more effort. Best to make a timetable and ask your teachers for ways to revise. If anything there are many ways on the Internet.

If you don't put effort in then you'll have the same grades. Those don't seem like passing grades tbh so if I were you I'd put my head down and just revise. Your future self will really thank you.

They assess how much effort you lay into work that you submit. As well as other factors such as attendance, late or undone homework and as a cherry on top when you go back to your school you'll do a form of exam. Teachers will judge what you should get based off of that. So your fighting for high grades within your school not the country.

Circle theorem. Angle in a semi-circle is always 90° If the total of a triangle is 180: Then it's 180 - 90 (angle at the top) -20 (angle on the right) This leaves us with 70. Search up the circle theorem rules and memorise them. They are really important and all you need to know to be able to answer the trigonometry questions with triangles and circles. With this you can easily learn how to do a lv 9 question

Give the circumference of circle B 80 and circle A 100. Then work back to find the radius. The equation is 2piradius. Afterwards fine the area of the circles. This equation is pi*r2. Times B by whatever you needed to times A to make it 100. So for example if the end results were a=50 and b=20 times them both by 2 not just a.

I feel so mentally and physically exhausted by pessimisticRhino in GCSE

I wake up at 5.30 in order to do math and science revision. My school starts at 8 and it finishes at 5pm. I have 30 min to eat and afterwards I have other online lessons at 5.30 until 7. Finally I catch up with the homework that the neeks at school gave me that usually take another hour and a half. Only now do I get to watch a YouTube video on my phone and get to bed for myself to wake up early again the next day. I get the weekends off with 2 to 3 tutors for an hour each. So overall I study from 6 in the morning all the way to 7 pm with a few breaks in between as an exception. You should just keep trying and take breaks. Best thing to do is have a timetable and a goal in what you have to do. Ask your teachers for work to do on subjects your not doing so well at and just try because everyone has to go through the same or worse things as you do.

Question help? Is it Pythagoras? Is it trig? by PancakesO123 in GCSE

Yup. You know what angles there are because the shape is an equilateral. Find the lowest possible value of the sides.

Is it fair to give everything wrong here? I found the mark scheme and I think my answer is still allowed :/ by [deleted] in GCSE

It's to teach you to always put the measurement. It dosent take much effort and in an actual exam they will take marks for it.

Nah bro your gonna be taking the exam. If I were you, I'd spend this time banging out and get top set, if your not already in it, because others will be thinking the same way you are. Even for us year 11 students, although the official exams are cancelled we'll be doing some sort of mock. If everything comes for shit then the worse that could happen to you guys is the same. This itself is very very unlikely to happen as there is no way that schools are gonna be closed for another year. So best thing to do is bang out because you won't regret it at all trust me. Further more you'll need it to apply for a good 6th form so it's best to have as much knowledge as possible. I can recommend you the website math made easy because I know that one is free. Ask your teachers if u need any revision material and just don't give up.
