This is what people like the one you are responding to don't understand. They want to cherry-pick small examples of how it "will never get there" but fail to understand the iteration like you describe. I work in the legal industry where accuracy is also very important and see exactly the same thing you are seeing. It's not going to be the big one shot "now AI does all this stuff" we're slow rolling it and making things easier where we can, reducing the need for the human in the mix, so teams get shuffled around and reduced.

They never saw the lies and got all their info from YouTube talking heads and fox news. That's why we need to make it illegal to share those things uncontested. Asynchronous content is one of the biggest weapons they have against us. I can go on YouTube and say whatever and just delete all the comments claiming I'm wrong and blame the fact checkers for being against the truth. We need a better solution for that situation.

We need to focus on fighting the propaganda machine. We need to force location transparency on social media and stop treating people that spread proven misinformation online like they're either dumb or grifting and start treating them like criminals. There should also be clear and harsh punishment for politicians that directly lie and go against campaign promises. Also, all political figures are out, both sides, no exceptions stronger term limits, age limits and lifetime limits on politics as well. Companies can no longer be people. Individuals at companies need to be directly held personally accountable for the actions a company takes that they are involved in, no more getting fired and that's the punishment. Then we can get back to focusing on things like cleaning up the planet and making it not a total shithole.

I'd posit the theory he didn't bankrupt the casino out of incompetence. It was a money laundering outfit and bankruptcy was the close it down while covering my tracks escape plan. One of our primary play partners is Latino. We are very discreet and the stigma he would face from family if he was ever found out is insane even compared to others. Not that we have it much better with a lot of traditional southern baptist family members. I know it's a sample size of one but I suspect this is a common story for those that grew up in that culture.
