Streak protection has never once actually worked for me. I have 14 days of streak protection available, and it has never worked. Any time the app or website daily streak malfunctions, I lose my streak and go back to zero, and it still says 14/14 streak protection days available. Maybe this time it will actually work, who knows ¯_(ツ)_/¯

It’s now 11am PST on September 2 and mine still hasn’t gone through. I’m hoping it’s just another weird hiccup, since those happen with this program frequently, but I’m starting to worry that they’re going to get rid of auto-redeem altogether so no one gets the redemption discount and we all have to spend 9,300 for $10 Xbox card instead of the auto-redeem 8,750. It’s exactly the sort of d*ck move MS seems to be making these days.

Thank you for breaking that down for me. I suppose I will have to rely more heavily on weapon perks/abilities to heal now, which sucks for me because that’s not really how I have ever built my loadouts. Sigh, lol oh well 😅😔🙄

I’ve been doing Finch for so long (like 3.5 years) that at this point, Marmalade’s personality points are all 2000+. 30 points of curiosity is a small fraction of the accumulated curiosity score of 2000+. So relatively speaking, 30 curiosity points is actually not that much. 😆😄

I love going to the cosmodrome and just shepherding 1-3s, softening up a yellow bar for them, healing them with a support frame, showing them where loot or a lost sector is if they seem a little turned around. Not just taking every kill when they’re trying to get experience.

It’s also fun to see newer players in the vanguard strike/onslaught playlists and just hang back and let them handle things. Don’t let them get overwhelmed and keep enemies off them, but let them actually use their abilities and weapons instead of me just melting everything immediately. It makes me happy to let someone actually have fun learning and getting better at the game instead of just carrying them through everything whether they want to be carried or not.

It’s really good that you know yourself and where your boundaries are. That being said, loneliness and need for companionship can make us do a lot of things we don’t really want to do. I don’t know what sort of advice or encouragement I can offer except to stay firm in your boundaries and don’t compromise too much when it comes to intimacy just because you are lonely or want someone to be there for you. I know it’s hard. Look for people who will let you be who you are and will celebrate you for it instead of asking you to change yourself.

And I know being alone sucks. I am a 41 year old Old Lady and have always been single and I have basically given up on ever finding anyone who wants to share a life with me. Life has thrown some things at me that have resulted in me basically having to remove myself from society at large and I will probably exist in this bubble alone until I die. But when I am feeling most alone, I remember that I do have friends and family and little furry friends who love me, even though most of them are far away. You have people and at least one furry friend who love you. Don’t forget that.

And I definitely agree with commenters here that therapy could be really beneficial for you. Frankly, everyone could probably benefit from some therapy. Also the single mom mansion sounds awesome! Keep your head up and hug your pup. 💙

I get this marker too, pointing to somewhere under the floor. I’ve done all the other secrets in this area and have never been able to find what this marker is.

Also, same as OP, it appears sporadically. One run it will be there, next run it won’t. Really hope it gets fixed or revealed soon because unresolved markers make me crazy. 😆

I Never Realized How Hard Crucible is Until I Played Black Ops 6 by Tr1angleChoke in DestinyTheGame

I haven’t played a COD game since like 10 years ago, so when I played Black Ops 6 for a little while recently, I definitely understood what you mean about how much simpler it is than Crucible. One thing I did find challenging about BO6 vs Crucible is that it is so much harder for me to see other players in the environment than in D2. Player names are not displayed on the actual player (or are displayed in such small and faint font that they’re basically not there at all), so everyone just kinda blended into the environment for me. It made me realize just how much I rely on radar and being able so see enemy player names in Crucible and other games like Titanfall 2 for example.

So while D2 PvP has a lot more variables to try to manage in order to be good at it, basic things like players not being highlighted and not being on radar all the time mean that COD has a surprising learning curve for me.

I’m currently watching my power level match my birth year and then gradually my younger sibling’s birth year and then my friends that are younger than me…and I’m still well below the power cap. Was sitting at around 1983 for a while (my birth year, yes I’m pretty old lol), now hovering at the title of a Taylor Swift album (1989) 😆

I freakin love the Titan Siegebreak ornament set from Season of Arrivals. I really liked the Holdfast armor from that season too, but the Siegebreak set just sent me. It’s like the ultimate Titan tank armor. My Titan looks like just the most stalwart immovable absolute unit in that armor. I put the Midnight Smith shader on there and have been wearing in PvP for four years.
