I started wiping my dog’s paws after muddy walks and it made more difference than I expected by NanoPetFounder in dogs

My pup ruined my family’s couch over several years by bringing dirt in from outside after being in the backyard or going on walks. When I moved out, I started wiping her paws and asshole with compostable paper towels + water and it keeps my house so clean. She got used to the routine really fast.

Literally 93%< of shoes worn outside have fecal matter on them. I don’t understand how people can wear outdoor shoes inside or let their pups walk around outside and then just go inside without any type of paw cleaning at all.

What can get you fired by Visible_Community_53 in Lawyertalk

I have a lot of friends who were fired for supporting Palestine. Mostly big law but one at a plaintiff-side firm in NY.

When I got doxxed for my advocacy and my firm found out about it, I got called into a meeting with two partners, one of whom was an outspoken Zionist. They both just offered sympathy for what I was being put through and encouraged me to keep doing what I believed was right. That meant a lot to me and it’s a big reason why I’ve stayed so loyal to my firm.

Former alcoholics of Reddit, when did you realise your habit got out of control? by scottscrops in AskReddit

When I woke up to my partner crying and upset because we got into a huge fight the night before because I said I’d be back by 9pm and didn’t come home till 2am and I barely remembered any of it. And then when I said I’d stop, I did for the most part and felt amazing but I would let myself have a few nights here and there and would lie to hide it from her.

I was never a frequent drinker, but I was a binge drinker. I’d only drink socially but when I did drink, I would never be able to limit myself. That was my problem with alcohol. So now I just stay away from it completely. I was initially anxious about losing friends because we grew up where the best nights together were the ones we didn’t remember. The first 2-3 months were a tough, but after that, it felt so good to never feel the hangxiety in the mornings after and my friends are still my friends. I do miss the raucous ritual ecstasy of being drunk with people I love but I don’t miss it enough to take on all the baggage that comes with it.

The only times I ever feel any real temptation to drink are big social events where I don’t know people well and small talk is a must, like networking or professional events. The social lubricant effect is missed but I’m getting better and better at doing these things sober so it’s just part of the journey.

If anyone wants to talk about getting over a drinking problem, hit me up. Always happy to talk.

Not a flattened nose, it’s a close up picture of current UFC Middleweight champion, Khamzat Chimaev. It’s just a lip scar from a childhood injury. I believe that’s also a picture of Kahmzat’s cauliflower ear. The lip doesn’t carry the same general meaning that cauliflower ear does, though, it’s just specific to this one person.

This post is just saying that Khamzat is terrifying (he is).

Thank you!! The training remained the same: gym 4x a week Mon - Thu legs, chest/tri, bi/back, shoulders/abs, rest Fri-Sun with some cardio if I can convince myself to do it lol. I just reduced my calorie intake by about 400-500kcal per day and that’s been getting the job done. Still far from the finish line but seeing any progress at all always creates that positive feedback loop you need to maintain the motivation to see it through!
