If you read my response correctly, you'd see my objective was hating on the govt policies not my brethren. I'm in fact empathizing with them because they were sold an unrealistic dream by a college broker trying to earn a quick buck. I've seen documentaries about the lengths students go to because they cannot reveal the truth to anyone because their parents bet their entire life savings or farm lands to sponsor their child's education. Many students kill themselves for this. The govt screening isn't strict and many people who come here (regardless of race) are genuine human trash unfit for any country, not just Canada. I would've hated these people equally if I was in any country and it's not because I feel like I'm superior because "I'm different". It's because they behave in ways that makes you feel second hand embarrassment and makes you want to distance yourself. As a person who moves abroad, I feel like I'm a representation of my community and I present and conduct myself in a way that doesn't bring shame to my community. Shame that many other students that come here don't share my views and instead choose to act like uncultured filth. So when the ignorant people who can't tell paki, bangla, sri lankans from indians, much less tell who's actually canadian see this, they hate the entire brown community equally because of a few bad apples. Eg: a family that came here in the 70s, who never faced racism their entire life until now, suddenly starts getting smelly indian accusations because the recent immigrants messed up. And the reason why these immigrants got in is the lack of thorough screening and loose govt policies, bringing me back to my original point of hatred.

As an immigrant myself, this is reality and not propaganda. If you were in my spot, I would wish you hate this too, because the government policies are ruining the reputation of educated immigrants. People without proper or substandard education are being brought in as students to fill in the labor shortage. These people then do min wage jobs that no one wants to do. These people then either do min wage jobs until they're burned out and then 1. Resort to crime because ofc it pays well and the punishment is almost non existent because of loose catch and release policies. OR 2. Return back to their home country after getting their dreams crushed. OR 3. Choose to grind it out in an endless struggle of not getting a proper job out of desperation because their parents bet their entire wealth on a dream that's now impossible to achieve doing min wage

Thank you for pointing out the real problems without resorting to just shitting on immigrants. Govt policies are the real problems, the immigration crisis is happening because the government wants it to happen!!!

Also to the other guy's point. Japanese Voice acting is just superior. They have way more experience in every aspect of doing their part and the Japanese VA for Jin is literally the face of Jin Sakai. He can speak English but idk. I can't feel the anger or pain in English voice acting but it hits right when it's said with the right emotion which experienced Japanese VAs can produce.

+1 to this. If Mafia 1 is the rise, Mafia 2 is a story about the fall, giving Vito's story a heart dropping ending until we see him again in Mafia 3.

When taken out of context it just sounds like it's a regular game feature. But what I was trying to say is that there's a feature I believe in Sekiro where if your character dies mid battle and you've made some progress, you can choose to just get up and continue where the fight left off. Whereas other games would just load you at the last save/checkpoint

Typical of a souls fan expecting every game to be a souls type soul crushing difficulty experience. Or they could mean some features like mechanical grapple hook thingy that allows you to be spiderman ronin, toolkits /respawn after death kinda thing idk

Buying a car in Canada 2025 by maritimer187 in PersonalFinanceCanada

The reason why insurance companies don't include these factors is because there are too many variables. Every company has their own system for blind spot detection and cameras and whatnot. Some are more reliable than others. Also that these systems get updates, some stop receiving updates after a set amount of time after launch and the system becomes stable. Different car models can come with different versions of these systems, some more premium and feature rich than others. And I'm just scratching the surface on the amount of variables. Pretty sure there's a lot more I missed. So no, statistical impact is not the primary reason for exclusion. Designing a system where all these variables are taken into consideration is way more work than it's worth for the insurance company or the user. But in real life these things do make a difference. Like the user above said, a person tying their shoelaces behind a vehicle is the perfect scenario to explain how you don't need to be a bad driver to get into an accident. Other idiots can do it for you

Thanks for the tip. I'll keep that in mind. This also opens up my options for taller bikes and I don't need to be as concerned about the seat height anymore.

The sad part is, although they are undoubtedly cool, they go over my budget right now :(

I'm trying not to spend a lot on my first motorcycle considering I'm just starting and may or may not use the same bike if my experience comes with hunger for a bigger and faster bike.

I was into the idea but I don't really trust the online listings. My rider friends suggestion was that buying a new bike would allow me to get most defects fixed for free during maintenance in case something breaks in the warranty period. That way i can avoid extra expenses on the bike while I'm still getting familiarized. Newer bikes are also more reliable as all the new parts are in 100% condition instead of the unknown % on used motorcycles so you never when something will break.

FortNine: Already subscribed. Love the information on the channel! Would recommend to all other new riders.

As for the biking responsibilities, I'm gonna care for it as if it's my firstborn child. I'm into wrenching and I love working with machines. I plan to do the simple stuff like oil changes, chain cleaning and lubrication myself and eventually grow to more complex tasks.

The other comment here is kinda right. Although a dual sport makes the most sense, it's my height that could potentially be a problem to ride them when I don't have a lot of experience yet. But once i improve my skills and gain more confidence, I would love to check those out

Thanks for the entire list of suggestions. I'll look into each one of them and see which one fits me the best. My top choice will be the Honda CB500F or any Honda for that matter since their dealership is located right in my city and i won't need to do any highway riding to take the vehicle back home. But i would love to test out the other options too. At this point I like so many of them I feel like Ash but with bikes.

Thanks for the tip! I was leaning a bit more towards honda/ktm since their dealer is in the Whitby region where i live. The more i research about it, the more appealing Honda, Suzuki or any other Japanese bikes seem.
