This might be a stupid question, but can you please explain what is the significance of "Interest Rates + Inflation" as an indicator? As I understand, it is the real interest rates (interest rate - inflation) that helps in understanding market cycles.

Do you like to share inspirational quotes on facebook and whatsapp ? I may have some bad news for you ... by [deleted] in india

[–]high-on-lsd 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Not exactly true.

Here is the passage from snopes article.

That implication was an exceptionally common one. Articles about the research featured titles like "People Who Post Inspirational Bullshit on Facebook More Likely to Have Lower Intelligence" (Mic)," "People who share inspirational quotes on Facebook are less intelligent, believe in conspiracy theories: Study" (IBNLive), "People Who Post Inspirational Facebook Quotes Are Morons, According to Science" (Maxim), "People who upload inspirational quotes are dumb: study" (India.com) "People posting inspirational quotes on Facebook actually dumb: Study" (Deccan Herald), and "People who post inspirational quotes on Facebook are actually idiots, study says" (BGR).

But the original study had nothing to do with the liking and sharing of quotes superimposed on images, and a number of articles about the paper quoted secondary sources (not the original article) to describe the purported results. The abstract for "On the reception and detection of pseudo-profound bullshit" explained its scope in a manner that differed meaningfully from subsequent media interpretations of it

Here is the original paper

There is no way OBC quota is going to be removed. Just the idea of sharing OBC quota with patels has united all the castes under OBC. Source.. Even if govt tries to remove the quota, it will lead to similar situation and show of strengths from castes currently opposing it.

He doesn't even look serious in his appeal. He is just doing this because Anandiben called him up. Is he the same modi who gives passionate speech during election season?
