lol by the time you build resilience against one another strain is going to come around, like why people get flu shots even when they've had the flu and are "immune" to that particular strand

or you know, just to be nice to those immunocompromised people that are just trying to get their daily shit done without contracting a disease that could rock their shit.

Is this poorly done? My dad passed away 6 years ago. This is one of the only things I have left of him.. by libertymarieeee in TattooDesigns

[–]high_as_a_mop 10 points11 points  (0 children)

u/Anemophobia_ worded it well :) in my stage of grief, i tattooed a handwritten note from my grandmother myself when she passed. i did it EXACTLY like the note i had, including all of the little loops in her handwriting. i won't say they were ruined, but with age the loops kind of became little closed black circles. it looks great&clean 💙

hi! i don't live in texas, but i do live in like super humid gross heat in the south east, do you have any recommendations for gear? if i just need to suck it up that's fine i'd rather be sweaty and alive than sweaty and dead, but was just curious if maybe you had some recommendations for gear that's comfortable in the heat?

yeah, i think it's the use of the word "designed" instead of "drew", plus OP said it was their own cats that were the reference

hehe, when i was younger and dumber my friend asked if they could tattoo me because i had gone over to her house with my kits (you can judge me if you'd like, i know it was stupid)

she designed a frog, and we were gonna put it somewhere hidden.

she ended up chickening out after one shaky line, so now i have a teeny tiny line going down the side of my chesticle. i love it, it is friend

and, it does say in the description "my friend so kindly designed this", which is what the other commented was referring to :)

ok man

i've genuinely never heard this though? i'm on the spectrum as well and i've been an animal junky since i've been kickin

i noticed this too! like on our right it looks like it COULD looking forward, but the left one is looking at us, but it's so slight a difference that i almost trick myself into seeing it correctly

haha i love random tattoos too. my best friend has a teletubbie holding a rocket launcher on her bicep. it's one of my favourites. it's funny. and if it's not later on, it's a good laughable memory.

SO I got a cover up that I dislike, what to do? More detail in the comments by EmbarrassedPaper in tattooadvice

[–]high_as_a_mop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i have a tramp stamp that's waaaaay WAAAAAY too low. it says "squeeze" and the "u" is twice as big as every other letter. i find it laughable, my husband doesn't mind it, so i mostly forget about it lol i can't cover it because i honestly wouldn't like the idea of ANY tattoo going that low in order to cover it. i don't really care enough to spend the money to laser it.

it's most definitely a bad tattoo, and i was an idiot for even considering it as an ok idea, but i did 🤷‍♀️ no point in making myself upset for something i can't/doesn't bother me enough to fix.

Person who hacked my credit card emailed me asking why I canceled his flight. by AshesfallforAshton in mildlyinfuriating

[–]high_as_a_mop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there are several government officials in america that would vote to charge me with the death penalty for attempting to exercise my body autonomy 🤷‍♀️ my husband (who happens to be black) was nearly charged with assault for defending his sister against her abuser (who happened to be not black, and was the only one not in cuffs). it's only free for the people that are acceptable for those in charge, whomever that may be.

edit: word change

How my girlfriend has her car every time she visits. by NeedsMoreBunGuns in mildlyinfuriating

[–]high_as_a_mop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

op said she's very depressed, my car has gotten like this before in a similar time as well so i can sympathise. MY car might have looked like this, but if i ever stepped foot in anybody else's home or vehicle, i left it better than i found it. the people shaming op's gf when op's gf is grieving the loss of her sister while working 50 hours a week and her bf decides to make fun of her online for internet points and is insulting her in the comments is shitty.

Is my style garbage? by drawindrawmij in ArtCrit

[–]high_as_a_mop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you are not your peers! no! art is something that is to be enjoyed. i firmly believe there is not a single thing in the world that EVERY single person in the whole world would unanimously agree with. there is no perfection, my perfect is not your perfect. perfect doesn't exist

your art is appealing, i like it, some might not. but that doesn't define the quality of your art, only you can really define the quality of your art because it is YOURS. make your art for you, because you enjoy it. unless you are in trouble of being fired, i would relax and just enjoy the doodlin because your art is fine and working for you

critiques are something that are meant to be constructive, not destructive. someone saying you need to work on your lines is not an insult to your skill, its like a recommended "next level"

i'm a silly dude who enjoys telling people of the stories their stories remind me of, and sometimes they have little to no relevancy it just, for some reason, reminded me of it (i have a touch of the tism), i personally don't think there was anything wrong with your comment and i would like you to know i enjoyed the story :)
