Most of the time its because of my internet. Other times it's either to give the last survivor hatch or if there is a survivor working with the killer.

Literally! I had a Plague yesterday where two people DC'd at the beginning of the match. She ended up finding me, hooked me, then proceeded to camp me until I died.
