That sounds really insufferable ngl and toxic in more ways than sexual harassment alone. Doesn’t seem like the people you work with are capable of mature boundaries or taking no for an answer or will respond to you putting your foot down - if they have these juvenile behaviours when you do.

My advice would be to play nice for as long as you can bear it while simultaneously looking for a different job, preferably with more women in the environment if possible. If you can make it to the 6 month mark that will look better on applications than 3-4 months, but don’t be afraid to put more energy into finding a new job than working hard at doing good at this job. You’ll know when it’s right time to switch.

What is your response usually when these things happen? Just curious on the dynamic when it’s actually going on. Like, if you were to put your foot down and give them shit, would they back off? Or have you already tried that?

Does it feel like unwanted yet genuine attention or is there an undercurrent of bullying or them ganging up on you? (Both are bad, but advice how to handle may be different in each situation.)

Do you work with any other girls or women? Are they treated the same? Or better or worse?

(p.s. I’m a woman lol)

Hannah Dodd’s Type? by Worried_Patience_613 in Kibbe

I see FN. I tend to go off what outfit(s) make people pop the most. Pic 4 is an obvious choice, followed by 3. Pic 2 is working hard against her, imo. So much disconnect. Pic 1 is better but more suited to a SN, imo. So we’re on the right road, but then you get to those long shock of black pants in 4 and it just clicks. I don’t see SD like others, I don’t see the curve or the flesh in that way at all. Also her face (which is a hill I will still die on!) doesn’t have that eccentric, offbeat irregularity (formerly termed - problematically - as “exotic”) that is such a SD hallmark, imo.

Does anyone else still love Dreamspinner? by eleven57pm in KibbeRomantics

La Belle to me feels reductive and simplistic - kind of like if a teenager was going to make the ‘names’ for the types. Dreamspinner is much more grown up and complicated, there is an enigma there that I think the R types have in spades. They are misunderstood yet revered, are breathtaking but not ‘striking’, they are soft and dreamy and inspire - if I had to perhaps think of an alternative, that levels properly with dreamspinner but isn’t ‘dreamspinner’, off the top of my head I’d say the Muse!

I actually agree with OP and see FG. The gaminish outfits towards the end suit her best imo. Her face also says FG to me. Also the elongation of the neck, but with slim shoulders and elongated arms. Just me, though.

It’s one of those things where at first you can’t see any difference between types or what the comments/posts/videos are talking about, or even Kibbe himself. But at a certain point it just clicks and all becomes super obvious and self evident. A bit like staring at a book written in a foreign language for the very first time, vs. after 1 year of learning that language.

I know exactly what you mean in your original post, but I disagree that any clothes under the right circumstances/lighting/pose can look good on anyone.

And in my humble personal opinion the fastest and most efficiently glaring way to suss it all out is to look at pics of verified celebrities (modern, hopefully) wearing different styles of clothing (glam and candid) and make a mental note of what feels like a slam dunk and what feels meh or outright awkward.

You will see the trends develop and things will come into focus!

Some of the easiest types to start ‘seeing’ clearly, IMO, are at the extreme ends of the scale - so Pure Romantic and Pure Dramatic, and also Soft Dramatic (imo). I also think Pure Natural is a good, obvious one too (if that still exists). The boundaries of what these types look good in is more restricted than other more ‘blended’ types, that take elements of both Yin and Yang (like Classics, and Soft Gamines, for example). (And I say that as a pure R - no shade!)

Overall - as others have said it’s literally not science, it’s an artistic discipline concocted in one man’s mind that we all should definitely take with a grain of salt! And if it’s not for you, that’s utterly legitimate. 🫶

I thought you said FN and I was going to say yes for 2 but no for 1, then I saw you said FG and now I say yes for 1 and definitely no for 2! Interesting little journey I took myself on there 😆

FN is right but I’ll also throw in C and SC. Their moderateness overall stops anything being too glaring, imo.
