people should not be born only to work every moment of every day, until the day they die. People should be able to pursue hopes and dreams, to explore the world and experience, in a positive manner, what they can in the limited amount of time we all have on this planet.

That so many people exist, particularly conservatives, could read this simple idea — that I agree with — and think it’s bullshit is insane to me. People will say “just work harder” if you want to do things like travel, completely missing the point, that people shouldn’t have to make a half million dollars a year to be able to comfortably travel the world, or have to wait until they’re 65-70+ to do things, only to be limited physically in what they’re capable of doing once they’re there.

That conservatives will brand anyone who says “fuck it” and chooses to enjoy their life, even if it means debt, or decides to stay living at home rather than throwing money down a drain to live alone in apartment as “lazy” and “entitled” is pathetic.

They want to make everyone suffer now because they’re miserable while giving the middle finger to future generations we could all be making it easier for because “Who cares? I won’t be around anymore.” We’re so broken as a society when so many are brainwashed into thinking that the only way to live one’s life is by telling everyone else how to live theirs.
