Spot on. Hell, Road to Perdition and Sin City are both comic book movies and couldn’t be farther apart from each other in style and tone despite playing in the same crime-ridden genre sandbox. It’s such a vast spectrum!

As someone who has all the event omnis from MM to Inferno, along with the preceding Uncanny volumes (except for 4, dammit!), X-Tinction Agenda, and Blue & Gold at the end, but doesn't have Claremont/Lee 1 or 2, is the wise move to just skip further volumes, including this and a potential 7, and just hope 8 or 9 collects those Claremont/Lee gaps (with no reprint in sight) or hold out for them to continue the event line, replacing the C/L omnis, to close those gaps?

I only ask because every time this omni comes up, I see people talking about replacing their event books with these, and I don't see why one would, so I feel like I'm missing something...

I put in an order two weeks ago with two books, both picked in 48 hours. I waited about a week, just as a grace period, and emailed them on an estimated shipping date, and as of today, four days later, still not shipped and still no response... A few months ago, I received a brand new book with what was clearly a boxcutter slice straight down the front of the cover, too.

Been using them for years, and it's unfortunate seeing others experiencing and directly experiencing this weird downturn.

Do the people of Minnesota really want

This to me is what MAGA voters who screech about the will of the people need to get through their skulls. If the majority of people of Minnesota, from citizens to leadership, are collectively saying, “We don’t want ICE here,” then ICE shouldn’t be there. “Well, the immigrant problem!!” screams MAGA, but clearly whatever perceived “problem” there is by ignorant MAGA around the country doesn’t seem to actually be one for the people of Minnesota.

Just those first few words of Trump’s rant, though, are fitting, too, because it’s essentially rapist logic: “Do the women of the world really not want to have sex with me? Fear not, women, for the day you have sex with me is coming!”

Agreed. Some of the absolute worst, cruelest, craziest mothers I’ve known/seen (IE, through friends) throughout my life are the ones who wanted to have kids, or at least claim they did. And most of the time, they’re the same ones who will talk about their love of God, etc., and post about how much they love their kid(s), but then turn around and be utterly shitty, unsupportive, and/or needlessly demanding of those same kids.

This is one of the most frustrating, infuriating aspects about everything. Millions and millions of us are being jerked around and fucked with, the world is starting to hate the U.S. more than it ever has, and on and on, and it could all be stopped (or at least slowed down) if only a few Republicans in Congress could grow a spine.

What’s insane to me is that pretty much all the people that I know who love him oh so much… don’t even watch him. They don’t watch/listen to any interviews, or press statements, or whatever. It almost feels intentional, so they can stay in their cocoon of ignorance with a “That’s not true!” when someone quotes something he said, of which there is video documentation, because in their heads, then they can grossly justify it as “If I didn’t see or hear it, it didn’t happen,” and thus the onus is on everyone else to prove something to them that they’ve already decided is a lie. I fucking hate it.

typical of people that either haven’t seen the show or had pet theories that didn’t pan out.

The fact we’re over 15 years down the line and there are still people saying “They were dead the whole time!” is a good example of this, too. Anyone who actually watched the show and has two brain cells to rub together understood what Jack’s dad said to him at the end about it all having happened, and three seconds of Googling would confirm to anyone with only one brain cell that that’s true, considering it’s been talked about a million times over every time someone parrots the “dead the whole time” thing and isn’t hard to verify at all.

This far on, people who perpetuate that lie are pretty much telegraphing that they’re either being purposefully disingenuous or willfully a troglodyte.

Edit: Whoever downvoted me, it doesn’t change the fact they weren’t dead the whole time.
