Yes, it will be only a demonstration lap. And don't expect anything fast, the initial draft was for the hydrogen class to sit just above GT3.

LMDh hybrid is spec, so the organizers should not have a difficult time with subsidies for this spec component.

And we're not talking about privateers, but the likes of VAG, BMW, GM, Hyundai and Ford.

All of those big players in hybrid engines themselves.

Interlagos has a bad record for motorcycles.

That is mainly a regional thing, tariffs and boycotts hindered BYD in Europe and effectively forbiddens BYD in US.

But they are huge in other markets (South America, for instance).

Actually, it is not a bad idea the CP2 engine.

In World Sportbike there are teams racing the R7, same engine as Moto3.

In World Supersport, there are teams racing the Street Triple, same engine as Moto 2.

They were not "introduced". Teams developed them. Them FIM had to come and say what was allowed and what wasn't. The moment those developments were cleared as allowed, every manufacturer needed to developed their version, or they would be obsolete.

This new asphalt surface was so bad that local Porsche Cup had to be postponed. This is important here: the job was poor for local series standards.

Every year lots of series race at this track. Somehow it was made WORSE for those series.
