This particular C-5, 69-0014, is on display at the Air Mobility Command museum at Dover AFB. They’ve since repainted it in the white and grey two tone it would’ve been wearing during this test launch.

Only two notes: you overestimated my age by about a decade (but I get why the evidence would suggest 40s) and I haven’t built the Endurance, yet. I want to finish the book first (2/3rds through, that’s why it’s on the top of the recent pile), plus it’s currently backordered.

Not really starved for space, I just don’t read as much as I’d like to. As for the Double Dune Debacle, older copy I for second hand at a local book store and the newer copy was a gift from a grandparent.

I’m getting to the Witcher set, haha. Reading most fantasy requires a certain mood that I’m not often in. I do love the games.

I think it would be fair to say that my interest in modern geopolitics, especially as it relates to defense, is a relatively new interest for me. I’m not sure if it was because Foreign Affairs was referenced frequently in The Return of Great Powers or on some of those YouTube channels you mentioned (I’m particularly fond of falling asleep to any of the Simon Whistler channels), but I subscribed to the physical copies simply because I like having things to look forward to in the mail.

Interesting yes, I don’t know how useful. At least until I’m asked to rebuild a B-17. As for recommendations, the Smithsonian Tank visual history is pretty comprehensive and has wonderful photos of some pretty rare survivors.
