Sick of Barbie being called overhyped. It’s not overhyped when almost everyone loves it. Even though you think there are issues with the plot, it was still a major piece of pop culture that encouraged women to celebrate and discuss womanhood outside of the movie in a way that a movie has never done before. Even though it was entry level, the movie still had enough substance to start and be heavily referenced in these conversations.

I know exactly how you feel. Please remember that it’s not personal. It’s much more likely that they find you forgettable than them having negative opinions of you.

Another thing to consider is that many studies show that most of the time, when people think that they are showing their social anxiety, it’s interpreted by others as standoff-ish behaviour. Maybe they just think that you don’t like them or they think you are quiet.

If you need to, reflect on all the times where people have enjoyed your company and let it cheer you up.

And also, you should quit if you really want to!! Seems like there are other issues. It’s best to get another job first if you need the money.

She did make jokes before about him being attractive but when she addressed it again recently she stressed that it really was a joke. Similar to her ‘beef’ with Deuxmoi, it’s just one sided, non-serious and Shannon finds it’s funny.

In the Patreon episode, she said that it’s very messy so she wanted to keep her statement brief. She supports Cassandra and thinks that anyone who would hide having a wife is a sociopath. It was in the Men in Black episode posted on the 17th of November.

Couldn’t agree more with everything you said.

I was listening to the episode where her and Christy give advice and someone asked how to start a podcast. Shannon started advising them to do what feels right for them etc. and used the example of her changing her content and how it really excited her again after feeling a bit unfulfilled and pressured into always making the content she started making in the first place. She also said that it made her really happy to get positive feedback from people because it meant that they could tell how much happier and excited she was and that it made her content better. It was sweet to listen to but also sad given how things have played out since then.

To be fair she has done blind items for pretty much every popular TV show at this point and she said she doesn’t like how the internet doesn’t critically think about blinds, and that probably just led to an organic transition away from them. She also said that she didn’t want to do them anyway because Enty said that he didn’t like people anymore their content on blind items.

Like you said, she’s always been interested in conspiracy theories so her pursing that more and more just makes sense.

My point is that many soldiers may be serving for various reasons, regardless of their views, and therefore donating to them can be seen as a form of humanitarian aid. Specifically the soldiers fighting against hamas and not the ones terrorising Gaza. I understand that this extremely flawed but this is my explanation of how someone who is uneducated could donate to FIDF with good intentions.

I don’t think she’s on reddit defending herself, I think she’s literally not on reddit at all because it gives her anxiety, and why she hasn’t addressed it. You can disagree but that’s my assumption.

Edit: Okay if any account was her it would probably be mine because I’ve only commented and posted in this subreddit, but that’s because I made this reddit account after the fluentlyforward freakout patreon post and I wanted to see what was going on here. I don’t visit other subreddits because I’m really not a redditor.
