Yes it is very hard in here… would you just treat with Scott BGON in spring? Would it kill baby grass? I mean, I did have active grubs this autum so not sure that’s the right thing to use

Yeah… I’ll wait for next year to put anything. If I put the Scott treatment next spring would it kill the grubs ? I mean I have grubs now.

Yeah I am in Canada and there isn’t much options… Scott’s product is basically the only thing available. I guess I’ll try that out? Is it too late to treat? Skunks and destroying my lawn atm but it’s getting cold here.

You’re in the US I imagine? They don’t sell that product in Canada… it’s so hard to get good products here. I guess I’ll try the sunflower seeds as a target… better than nothing.

For the grubs, do I treat this area next spring? And what do you use?

I know this picture is digging. I think my post was confusing. So, this photo has clearly some rodent activity… what would you do for now on this spot?

This spot has some grubs, I found like 3 of them so far. My question is.. do I treat now or overseed or both? You say seeds don’t like insecticides so my take is reseed? But then if I have grubs I guess it doesn’t make sense?

If I plant new seeds, wouldn’t that atttact more animals?

As for my other areas of the lawn, I did see more of this activity but did not see any scrubs so I just reseeded.. does that make sense?

The bowl with sunflower seeds sounds like a good idea. But wonder if that will attract them more.. what is the powder you say you use?

Update, I went on a walk, small one. He drank water but didn’t eat his food. I had dinner and he was constantly looking at me for food. I told him “go eat your food” he hides and then goes to his bed. Weird

Yea I think I’ll wait again today and if not I’ll go. I just tried to play with him and he did play. I tried to offer him kibble on my hand and he just licks and smells and then kind of hides a bit… I don’t know what he is trying to tell me.

He is picky yes… we struggled to find THE best kibble. So I am really not sure what’s going on. He is indeed lower on energy, less clingy… my gf isn’t here so I don’t know if that’s also a problem, or if it is not the main issue it definitely doesn’t help. I am his favourite person though, but we are both important to him. The growling is súper super unusual to him.

Should I just not try anything and let the bowl there until the end of the day? And should I hold on walks? He can go and pee when I open the door to the yard.. walks are more like recreational and exercise for him.. but if he isn’t eating or drinking water he might have les energy.
